Question: Spirit Work &Liberations, how to?

Anyone have any tips on how to go about leaving Liberations to deities & spirits (be it alcohol or not), please? There's one drink I want to leave out for a chthonic deity, but don't know how to go about it besides just pouring it out and I can't always leave it. Any tips? Also, any other ideas for types of drinks to leave would be appreciated also🙏🙏
