advance apologies: i am only cells at work watcher through immersion (thanks to kira89 national representative @seethroughcan) so it may or may not be ooc. but. i came up with this au: samurai era 1146 and 2626 on opposing factions but always somehow meeting each other to spar: this whole thing about an eye for an eye. maybe when they were slightly younger 2626 injured one of 1146's eyes and now he wears his hair long over his injured eye. at some point maybe one of them get badly injured like literally blood soaking through the sleeves of their clothes and the other is practically incapable of helping because they've been so exposed to violence like that all their lives (and when did this entire thing become about helping each other?) with that trust that can only come through years of sparring together (read: pining) with a kind of "if i get killed doing this i don't think i'll mind but i want this to go on anyway" kind of thing. handwaving.
