Seems a little bit of a tonal shift on the foreign translations on Binky comics, delayed some years from when DC ran the series. And this was not a cover on any Binky comic book. It still is easy to imagine effectively a scenario like you see with Archie -- a metaphor on trepidation before authority, but as so happens it is actually a rollicking time travel adventure -- they end up in medieval times and introduce teen customs to the youth of Medevial Britain. Except it is not them -- the Scandinavian reprints published Scooter comics under the title of Binky, after running out of the Binky comic books.
intermixed with Debbi ( "Date with Debbi"). And you see Samm Schwartz dropped in for a spell there, before returning to Archie. I suppose hair color changes are made so that you are still looking at Binky, pals and gals.
Scooter, initially titled 'Swinging with Scooter', had a somewhat interesting enough premise -- rock star from Britain lands in America, wacky adventures ensue. But then 13 issues in, they switch to Archie knock-off and you have Stan Goldberg and Henry Scarpelli doing art, and this is more easily swapped for Binky for a catch-all Archie knock off title, British accent maybe easily dropped in translation.
Ps: the third slide is destroyed one innocent life after another
