the real reason morse doesn't go to Events with the Guys
The only thing I love more than a fic is a fake fic—how about Implements of Mercy as a title? (totally not inspired by the fake fic I made up about my friends OCs or anything pfft)
Ooooh that's such a good title, I wish I was half as good as coming up with them as u!! I feel like with that title it has to be an Endeavour fic, and Max/Morse of course
It's not always nice, the things that Max does in the line of duty. A wave of his scalpel has turned Morse's stomach on more than one occasion. But even so, there's a beautiful cleverness to it - no amount of squeamishness can deny that, not even when it has Morse sweating bullets on the cold floor, again. "It's very impressive," he mumbles against the hand gently pressed to his cheek. "Bloody awful, but still... impressive."
pov: ur max debryn staring lustfully at ronnie box but u forgot ur glasses
actual conversation between me and @bryndeavour that was so maxmorse coded i felt compelled
ronnie box, except he's unconscious in an ice bath with a kidney missing bc he crossed a witch who took it for a spell (the witch is max debryn) (he is using it to bewitch morse) (this story is tragic because he never needed magic to make morse love him) (and box really needed that kidney)
The barrel leaves distinctive marks on each bullet it fires. You can examine these "ballistic fingerprints" to see which gun fired the shot. It's quite accurate.
