Planning for your 18th Birthday
In less than 40(?) days I’ll be reaching my legality. And now I am preparing for my 18th birthday or as most people call it debut party for January 30, 2016.
Your definition of the word pretty/beautiful may not be the same as to others and that’s a very good thing! Because definitely you want your party to match your personality and be unique just like YOU!
So how do you plan an oh-so-awesome debut that is just so YOU? well worry no more ‘cause I’ll be sharing you guys some tips on how to plan your debut the way you want it to be.
These are based on my own experience planning my debut and a improved some of those I’ve read in the internet. 1. FIND INSPIRATION THAT DEFINES YOU. Do you always go to the beach? Do you love to read books? Do you love the stars and moon? Do you love flowers? Find something that represents you! Do you love to watch movies? Do you love the hunger games? you can have a debut based on your favorite book or movie or game! Ask yourself what you love! Find a theme that will surely be YOU! 2. LET YOUR IMAGINATION RUN! Finally you already have your theme. You can now create your own moodboard (or just get one from the internet - HELLO GOOGLE!) But remember don’t over do! Learn to edit ideas. Make sure that the moodboard you will choose compliments the theme of your choice. 3. GO FOR A COLOR PALETTE This will also help to set the mood on your party! This will also help you about choosing the color of your gown, the color/motif of your guests’ clothes. You can choose from solid colors to pastel to jewelry colors (Hello google!) There you have it! 3 tips on planning your debut. Don’t worry you don’t need to do everything alone your coordinator is always there to help! Your family and friends are also there to help you plan your big day! Ps. Plan your debut a few months ahead of time. Planning a debut party isn’t that easy. Good luck on your planning! Things would get easier if you hire a coordinator to help you because they are experienced people when it comes to event planning. *wink If you have questions feel free to message me on my twitter, facebook or even here on tumblr (just hit that ask button!) - With love, Keiji
