SUSPECT: CHANNEL 4 DRAMA RENEWED FOR SECOND SERIES - will Sam Heughan reprise his role as Ryan who, when we last heard was in a coma at the end of series 1?
Channel 4 have commissioned a second series of Suspect, the eight-part series adapted from Danish drama Forhøret. James Nesbitt played a detective investigating his daughter’s murder.
The series launched with a 28-day consolidated audience of 4.05m (17.85% share). The second series will this time feature psychotherapist Susannah Frater (Ann-Marie Duff), appearing in each of the eight-episodes as she tries to track down a dangerous patient before he kills again.
Her quest will lead her to uncover devastating new information that will make her reassess their daughter’s death.

With its distinctive narrative architecture and filming approach, season two promises to be a unique, intense and utterly addictive crime series.”
