the thing about lando is that he can absolutely be annoying to the point of just being mean because he's got that kind of cleverness and likes to get a reaction, BUT he also immediately notices when he's gone too far, like here the joke was too mean for me to include (both lando and tom had been on about max's weight this entire stream), but the way lando's voice shifts from a standard apology to a higher sweeter please-forgive-me tone is extremely typical of him. it didn't work, like max still just walked away as punishment for him being a dick, but it's fascinating to see him try to get away with it
