tiny (or not so tiny) changes incoming along with my new years resolutions to be less anxious and more confident and happy in 2019!

i’m gonna be working harder on writing for my own pleasure,  and not because i feel like i owe anyone anything.

to that end,  i’ll be focusing on surrounding myself with people who i genuinely feel comfortable around,  even if it ends up being a far smaller group than i’m used to.

i’ll be turning off anonymous messages,  as i genuinely have the worst anxiety whenever i see the number on my ask box go up.  i trust my friends to come to me if i’m doing something wrong,  and to be nicer about it than just about any anon i’ve seen in the past.

i’ll be far more selective with who i follow,  and hopefully far better at keeping track of who i’ve been plotting with.

aesthetic and graphics will be far less important,  i’ll keep them as they are now for as long as i can,  and i’ll live with that.

i’ll take a day or two for myself every week,  to read,  or clean,  or anything i want  ---  but be totally disconnected from tumblr as a whole for the sake of my mental health.

i’m gonna go through and clear out my discord of people i don’t know / haven’t ever talked to,  to allow it to be a safer and more comfortable space for me.
