just a mixed pot of headcanons:

-rudie gets down on all fours to dash & he does it when he really needs to go fast

-sprout towers above everyone in height (one time after he teased shrimpo about it he ran into a different room and came back 10 minutes later with a ladder just to slap him in the face)

-pebble absolutely HATES metal (and by extension, vee)

-shelly persuaded everyone to let her get sponges shaped like dinosaurs. she volunteers to do the dishes all the time now just because of those sponges

-poppy has drank the lethal dosage of caffeine from energy drinks before and she totally would do it again. the five hours spent at the hospital has taught her nothing

-razzle screams like a little girl when he gets startled, much to dazzle's annoyance

-shrimpo is at his angriest in the mornings, especially if he’s woken up by something other than himself (long story short gigi has a whole collection of his smashed alarm clocks)

-poppy refuses to drink plain water, quite the opposite of finn who drinks only plain water

-sprout has an insanely high heat tolerance but can’t stand being cold

blot can essentially clone himself randomly. he can do it at will but he automatically just splits into 2 blots if he doesn’t do it in a long time.

(reasoning is i think that the ink he’s made out of also multiplies over time so he gets progressively larger till he splits off)

the toons will occasionally wake up to see 2 blots one day :,) his clones do not retain his old memories though so it’s fairly easy to find out which blot is the original

this headcanon comes from more of like a joke rp my friend and i did but. it ended up sticking.

finn & shelly adopted scraps & goob. when yatta came out i made her part of the craft siblings too (craft triplets, if you will)

so now finn and shelly have 3 children, all thanks to me 💖

-shrimpo got 4 arms like astro.

-he got the shrimp tail

anyways. i think shrimpo would swim by slowly doggy paddling through the water with his arms and using the (ahem) pleopods to push through the water at a more consistent pace. he retains the ability to propel himself backwards with his tail like regular shrimp. source is my dad used to own a lot of tiny shrimp

(side note: shrimpo is likely the walk slow swim fast type)

i saw yall post a screenshot of my ask and i laughed about it for like 7 minutes straight (i am so sorry)

anyways, back to scheduled programming of mixed pot of hcs

-rodger can’t actually speak, he communicates by thinking at someone else really hard and sends like a telepathic signal or something (it only works on one person/toon at a time)

-boxten doesnt sleep well but it’s not because of the nightmares, its because he can’t sleep on his back because of his wind-up key & he can’t roll over without using too much force that would wake him back up

-gigi’s room is suspiciously “empty” because all the stuff she hoards that actually matters is hidden safely in a hole in the wall behind her information card

-connie & scraps painted a second face on the bottom of boxten’s lid as a prank and he has not found out yet.

-adding onto the above hc boxten’s and gigi’s heads both open up when they get startled so every time boxten gets jumpscared or lifts open his head for any other reason he momentarily spooks out everyone in front of him

-if one were to spray dandy with water from a spray bottle his petals would fold inwards and cover his face. if it was from a hose however he sits there blissfully and takes it

boxten just gets startled and then you see a face come up once he opens his lid

anyways uh. my favourite characters in block tales are just

- misguided children

- 21 year old man who acts like hes 13 and 30 at the same time

- silly gal

- silly gal's traumatized sister

- these puzzles are ticking me off

- im the original medjed

i have. so much rambling i want to do about this game. like how i first played through block tales with my boxten cosplay
