Could you imagine an au that mixed Once Upon A December and Turned Human au? Alastor gets magically turned human back to the day in the bayou with Caleb, he's there one moment as the gun goes off, and then the next moment he blinks and then he's in the hotel surrounded by the gang, still wearing the dress and dripping blood from the wound in his leg

Oohhh, oh I like this.

So, I'm assuming this is something ala Side Effects where its just Alastor and he's mentally returned as well, because it means he doesn't know what changes he's made in the century when he he ends up in the hotel again!

He also doesn't realise that Lucifer, who did the thing, is utterly baffled because this counts as interfering with/harming sinners, and he shouldn't be able to do that.

For fun, this is during Episode 3 when Vox and Vel are in the hotel - maybe this time Alastor wasn't hurt by Adam, or healed it, and so WAS around when Charlie did her thing and Vox cut the brakes, and he interfered but Lucifer was there too, drawn by the siren song of messing with Alastor, and tried to show off and now they have a human Alastor on the rooftop, and he's beautiful. He's wearing a beautiful golden 30's dress and a pink flowy shawl and makeup and he's beautiful and bleeding. Cuts and fragments of glass, his dress is a mess - and then there's his leg.

The Hazbin's are freaking out - and so is Vox.

I honestly think NOK is my fav AU, just because it forces everyone to see Alastor as he truly is, or their perception of the truth based on minimal facts, rather than the Radio Demon facade. With that, chapter 5 of Once Upon A December had me thinking about if this whole thing had played out in NOK. Without the time travel or meeting Angels. It's just chapter five being put as a replacement scene.

Or maybe he doesn't remember being sent back in time and still changes how he behaves than before. I'm not here to piss in your Cheerios. But the deal aspect would have to change lol.

Actually got half way through writing this and realized I wanted to change the premise that he did go back in time after Anastasia gave part of her Grace to Alastor. Also want to add in the Fallen Winner Alastor NOK idea from before. The one where Rosie knew he was going to be a Winner but the deal with her dragged him down. But this time, the deal that drags him to Hell isn't a Soul deal. But the one for him to get information from her about Hell. Because having ANY deal with a demon is an immediate sentence to Hell.

When the number of murders comes up, Alastor has 32 above his head instead 32. When he fuses the spell is wrong, he says it's by three.

When Lucifer gets to the scene where Alastor is killing his step dad, Alastor is in a gown of red liquid silk, dark purple chiffon shawl twisted around his form and billowing in the power of becoming a demon and what that afforded him. The mark on his forehead from a bullet, his death mark, looking like a bastardized halo. The image of, for all intents and purposes, an avenging Angel coated in blood.

Actually, he had wings, mangled ones. Burnt and twisted and obviously painful. The bottom set, the last set that still had a semblance of feathers left, clung desperately to Alastor's hips. Wrapped around his pelvis as if it could prevent them from being ripped away. But the internals were smoldering embers, burning away at them.

(Lucifer can't help but wince.)

They go on to do most of the scene normally from NOK, after Alastor shows his stepdad murdering his mom it goes to Rosie asking to eat the guy. And Alastor permanently killing him by tearing apart his Soul. His antlers keep giving him frequency and he tears them out.

I made that deal to not be tortured! To be safe! So why –

Rosie talks and offers him a tool to him but they'll need to leave here. And Alastor thinks about how he's safe in Hell. They both leave for Cannibal Town.

Rosie says how the dress looks lovely on him.

Lucifer questions why he died/went to Hell in a dress.

And chapter 5 of OUAD plays out. With out Alastor knowing he has Grace or about the previous timeline. Alastor getting into the gold dress and singing. The elation of being himself.

(Lucifer is stunned. He can hear and feel the budding Grace in Alastor's voice.)

Of knowing there's a predator in the crowd. Of the dressing room. Alastor debating on letting the man shoot him. The drive. The constant question of if he'd rather die than be raped. The bayou. The cabin.

Alastor tossed onto the bed to be filmed and recorded.

(No one knows he has a knife tucked into his dress, or that there's a hidden pocket made even more hidden by the shawl. No one other than him knows he cut the ropes. No one knows this man isn't the one to kill him.)

And Charlie breaks down. Begging not to watch this happen. Please don't make her watch!

So the scene goes black.

There's a ringing gunshot.

And Alastor is standing in an non-tattered version of his show outfit, surrounded by darkness. He appears to have his deer attributes, but still looks more like his human side. Brown and gold. With the addition that he has three sets of wings. He glows golden from within.

Both Lucifer and Vaggie are stunned this time.

"He looks like the Speaker." Vaggi states in an awed and hushed tone.

"Who?" Charlie asks.

"The Speaker of God." Her father answered. "The living Word. Alastor may appear similar. But he has the same Grace. That should be impossible."

"Unless she also had a Nephilim child." Vaggie added.

Alastor looks up, and sees the white and blue glow of Heaven. And he feels something almost like fear.

"No. I'm not meant to go there. Why am I here? It's like I'm stuck in between. I could have sworn my deal with Rosie- with any demon really-"

And golden ribbons of powers float up from the abyss.

And Alastor's smile goes from strained to relieved.

"There you are." He sweetly crooned, bending over to let the ribbons wrap around his neck. And for a moment, everything was still.

The ribbons became a chains and violently pulled him down. But Alastor was still smiling. Even as his golden dress turned red. As did everything about him. As his wings tore from the force and burned. As his halo became his kill mark.

The scene ended with Alastor crashing into Hell, spattering on the pavement. And they are forced to wait as his body regenerates.

Husk rounds on Lucifer.

"Stop this."

"Why would I?"

"Because this goes beyond the exercise. Because he doesn't own Charlie's Soul. Because Alastor would have been a Winner if he hadn't made a deal with a Demon. Which means that every murder he committed in life was considered justified. Because you just made us watch him get raped and murdered, then dragged to Hell."

"His wings." Vaggie commented. "The last ones to burn were his modesty wings. Hell stole his modesty wings just as that man stole from him. This needs to stop."

(Maybe we could even throw in the baby monitor AU? Buty idea for this is that Alastor doesn't have any of his memories until he joins the hotel. He's gone those seven years because Rosie asks him to, as a friend. And maybe for other reasons, he actually follows through.)

Oohhh this is FUN. Okay, so I keep trying to make it fit with December, cause you say he doesn't remember but what if he did? It's not able to be accessed by the spell because Anastasia protected his memories of the other timeline cause only she, him, God and Roo should remember it, so it just shows the moments from the new timeline - so it wouldn't show him thinking of the deal being made to be safe, because he didn't make the deal, but it DOES show Rosie grousing about not being able to get those fresh human bodies, really what are the odds he'd die the day after their deal!

I really like them thinking he sold his soul to be safe but he DIDN'T in december, he still has it, so maybe they just reference a deal and Alastor mentally comments on knowledge being power, and wanting to be prepared for hell, and not wanting to be tortured, wanting to be safe, and they just think she owns it?

Possibly she also makes the winner comment, and they get to see him rip out his wings - I like the idea that modesty wings, where the wings naturally cover those parts, are pretty rare and a sign of an angel of chastity. Anastasia has the bottom two covering her dress because she has all the virtues, and so is Chastity and Humility, and seeing them burning, is a shock for Vaggie and Lucifer, who have to explain what modesty wings are to the others.

They're also shocked he has six wings, because that's a Seraphim thing, and a human shouldn't be able to become a Seraphim! But it explains his power level, him being able to destroy a soul - like an angel smiting.

Like in your idea, Lucifer questions why he'd gone to hell in a dress, and it shows his last day - maybe all of the last day, including him being basically a disney princess as he goes down the street, singing with the tram, the apples, how he's treated, him confronting his producers and him at the speakeasy, surrounded by friends, their having lost someone already, recognising Mimzy, Caleb showing up again, letting him in for the money - and then him dancing, singing, performing, alive and happy and beautiful.

Lucifer realising human Alastor has Grace - possibly Vaggie too.

(Vox and Val and Vel also seeing all this and all three of them want him, with Velvette planning to put him in more dresses and Valentino wanting to see him on stage or film, and Vox just - just wanting. Seeing him truly smile and enjoy himself and remembering when he'd smiled like that at him.)

Them seeing Caleb sneak into his dressing room as he's taking his heels off. Them seeing the gun. Them hearing Alastor be all 'I know the afterlife exists, I could just let him shoot me - but it would upset the others, and one of them would have to find my body...'

(Vox seeing Caleb with Alastor, being arrogant and rich and wanting and trying to impress him and uncomfortably reminded of himself.)

Them seeing his smile while hearing his thoughts showing that, like he told Charlie, don't be fooled by the smile. His thoughts clinging to the fact that he wasn't a victim because he was choosing to allow this. The tension rising and rising and then they see the cabin, then Alastor is thrown on the bed - and of course Charlie cries out. She can't watch this. NONE of them want to watch this except maybe Valentino.

So none of them see Alastor get free, or realise he WASN'T raped and murdered.

And then they see him in between - maybe Rosie DIDN'T mention the winner thing, and this is their first time realising that he was actually supposed to go to Heaven, Lucifer and Vaggie seeing the similarities to the speaker (they have the same shape and colour and amount of wings, the same halo, maybe Alastor's hair is long and waves like hers) but confused because the Speaker can't have a Nephilim, she's an Angel of Chastity. (They don't realise she basically gave him her kidney lol)

They see Alastor confused, not understanding, wondering why he isn't in Hell, and then relieved when the white/rose gold ribbons wind up out of the darkness, one binding around his hand, not his throat (cause it's not a soul deal) and pulling him into hell, making both Vaggie and Lucifer wince as they remember their own falls. But while they were in pain and crying and in disbelief and grief and not wanting to - Alastor is smiling.

Yes! Husk! Stop the whole thing! SOMEONE needs to stop this madness!

(Would Vox still do the interviews and showing Alastor off in this world, having seen 'how he died/Caleb and his actions'? Vox is an ASSHOLE, and he wants to hurt Alastor for hurting him, while also wanting him to be afraid of and respect him, he wants him to break, to stop smiling, to beg and say he was wrong, and he also want everyone to know he won and beat Alastor and show him off - but he also Loves Alastor, and wants him to respect him and like him again, and he doesn't want to remind him of fucking Caleb. I think the humiliation parade thing still happens, and so do the interviews and the smoothie date, cause he wants to show off, but he also doesn't talk about Alastor's tail/grope him to find out about it/tells him he's not gonna rape him. Unless Alastor did think something about the deal being about being safe and he thinks Rosie has his soul and he wants to keep it - and he also knows that deal is the only thing keeping Alastor in hell, with him, so maybe he wouldn't? He just really wants to separate himself from Caleb, but I'm not sure what he'd DO.)

Ohhhh. Okay, so I genuinely think Alastor's glitchiness is on purpose and controlled, and the reason Vox has that picture is that Alastor allowed it, so it being an old camera wouldn't actually help him, because Alastor isn't allowing it.

On the other hand, that is a fun way of showing Vox, say, human Alastor, because his camera head has images that he saw when human as well as photos/videos he took, and you know what would really piss Vox off? If this random guy had a whole bunch of un-glitched images of Alastor (demon Alastor) while he didn't....

So I saw an old ask of mine, from my other blog, pop up. Apparent Psychosis! AU, specifically. And I had the wicked, evil little thought of "what if?"

Once Upon a December Alastor goes to Hell. But, like in your NOK fic, he's tuned in to the microwaves of the universe. But it's worse than his first time. He knows this. There's too much, and then more on top of it. It's not just faint whispers he can decide to amp up the volume and listen. No. He's forced to listen. Just like the Speaker/Anastasia. He hears all the Rings or Hell, all the Rings of Heaven, what beneath all the seals, and what's above all creation. He can hear and see Souls. He can hear emotions; hopes, dreams, fears, prayers-

Too much!!!

It's all too much!!!

He eventually gets used to it. That does not mean that he won't react to some of it, when it gets too much. Rosie has written it off as psychosis, that was made worse as part of Hell's punishment. She doesn't have a deal on him. Technically, because their deal for him to receive information on Hell in exchange for human flesh is still valid. Just impossible to actually do. (Unless Alastor gets his hands on a Hellborn that can travel to Earth...)

Vox only sees snippets. Moments where Alastor would freeze, ears laying flat against his skull (instead of perked when there was something he was listening for), and his eyes would be looking beyond anything Vox could see. Or Alastor suddenly starts panicking; not loudly, but his breath picks up pace and his shoulders hike up, and he starts curling in on himself- hunching over the bar, leaning on a railing, or becoming a circle on the couch two of the times Alastor had let Vox invite the deer inside his apartment. (Vox was secretly happy that Alastor's distress lead the man to his doorstep for comfort. It made Vox feel like a lighthouse on a dark, stormy night. And Alastor a mighty ship saved from being dashed on the rocks and guided home. Home, of course, being in his arms.)

Of course, all this going on while Alastor is most calm in his Radio Tower. Because there, he can project himself onto others instead of the other way around. He could influence the hearts of Sinners with the deep well of love and compassion Anastasia gave him access to. His voice is a soothing balm to the Souls of Hell. Even the Hellborn that go to Pride once, move in among the Sinners just to listen to the Radio while Alastor's talking.

Very few remember the full scale of terror when Alastor hunted the old Overlord regime and played their tortured screams. Zestial is the only old Overlord spared from Alastor's wrath. Rosie became an Overlord shortly after.

All the other Overlords that rose to power during this time eventually fell: either in fear of catching the Radio Demon's attention, or because of the general chaos in the power vacuum created. Nifty rose to Overlord status a decade later. When the other Overlords saw Alastor seemed to have a fascination with her, they braced themselves. But while she lost her Overlord status, she became one of Alastor's first contracted Souls. Another decade, two from when Alastor arrived in Hell, they saw his fascination again with Vox. But they had a falling out that drove the TV demon to become an Overlord. (This time, because he recommended a lobotomy to Alastor. After all, if it didn't help, Alastor would just recover anyways. This obviously didn't sit right with Alastor. At all.) Despite continuing to harass and pick fights with Alastor, the deer didn't do more than bruise the TV's ego. Two more decades and Alastor is interested in Husk.

And, of course, Alastor eventually owns the Gambling Demon's Soul. What most don't know is that Husk ends up being like an emotional support pet. Calming Alastor down. Helping him differentiate between what most people see, what he sees as a cat, and what Alastor 'sees'. Once Husk realizes this in this new timeline? He's softer with Alastor. Only when Alastor is deep in his head, though.

Though, the difference in timelines does bring up if Alastor looks for Angel in the 40's, alongside Nifty? But that trio would be sooooo fucked. Alastor dealing with new powers and apparent psychosis, Nifty having come from a lobotomy and psych ward, and Angel coming from an overdose (and probably having drug induced hallucinations) on top of that.

Actually, if Alastor starts collecting the crew early, he has a decade to get Pentious before Nifty and Angel. And maybe they bond over technology? Even though Pentious prefers his age's tech, he'll listen to Alastor rant about radios. Mainly because Alastor is genuinely intrigued by what Pentious builds and doesn't view him as outdated. I doubt Pentious would give up his Soul, seeing as he hadn't in the OG timeline. So Alastor just pops in, now and again, and the two play fight. Pentious was, admittedly, terrified the first time Alastor suggested testing each other's metal against one another. Mainly because of the 'cleaning house' the deer did previously. But they both eventually get into the swing of things and have fun with it.

Alastor having Pentious, Nifty, and Angel Dust under 'close acquaintances' before Vox would really fuck up the man when they had the falling out.

Cause in the canon, it seems to lightly imply Alastor got Nifty after the falling out with Vox. Vox hadn't even known Mimzy was Alastor's friend when alive! Alastor seemed to only be attached to another Overlord, Rosie. So, in canon, Vox sees Alastor only 'deals' with strong Overlords such as Rosie, and later Nifty and Husk, which drives him to become an Overlord even harder.

In a world where that's not the case? Where Alastor has Rosie and Nifty (earlier than the og timeline anyways), but also Angel Dust and Pentious? Later getting Husk, and associating with Cherri through Angel?

Vox's complex is going to be so much worse.

Especially in a Hell that's obsessed with Alastor's voice. (That isn't as harsh as the initial timeline. A timeline that was still not as harsh as it could have been had Alastor never gone to Hell.) A Hell that is so much softer, more organized, and even starts supporting it's people. With Hellborn now living among Sinners, there's new laws the Overlords place to protect the Hellborn so as not to incur the wrath of Lucifer or the Sins. It's mainly Imps and Hellhounds that move in. They blend in so easily. Plenty of Sinners look like the Hellborn, especially Hounds. And no one really wants to become an Overlord, eventually. Not the average person, anyways. It's changed to be more like a politician rather than just someone who own a lot of Souls. Matter of fact, those Overlords that gain their status through Soul contracts and violence tend to be constantly struggling to hold their title. As well as the fact that the most powerful, i.e. Zestiel, Rosie, Alastor, and eventually Carmine, tend towards political measures to get what they want. There's always those fools who assume their political strategies means these Overlords are weak, and get a nasty surprise.

Funny enough, if Alastor is in the business of making allies this time around, Zestiel also gets added to acquaintance. And, eventually, Carmine. Within reason. And Alastor is now very quick to let every Overlord know.

"Don't harm civilians, even of other factions, unless they start it. Don't use your deals to assault someone. Don't sexually harass anyone around me if you wish to continue your existence. Don't be a bigot, either. All these actions will make me lose respect for you. And might even make me consider more drastic measures. Especially never hurt children. They're not to be touched. Ever."

On top of this, everyone that becomes an Overlord eventually finds out that Alastor sees or hears things that aren't there. This spreads rumors that he's always on a hair thin trigger and crazy. Even though he's never hurt anyone while having an 'episode' and will actually stop a fight mid battle if he feels one coming on.

This is how Vox "barely beat" Alastor. Because he used his own frequency to mess with Alastor in a way that he knew could trigger the man to think there was a moment coming on. Vox secretly feels bad about it.

Angel still decides to become a pornstar, but he's not selling his Soul to anyone with Alastor around. Though, he might just sell it to Alastor to prevent himself from doing something reckless. Angel doesn't have a contract with Valentino. In fact, while the spider was initially fine with doing films at the moth's studio, he drew the line quickly when Valentino assumed Angel was easy to control.

Valentino tries to get his climb to Overlord. But when he tries to get Angel hooked on him, he finds that Angel is immune. Actually, if his victims listen to the radio long enough over the course of weeks, they too are cured. Valentino was wondering why there were so few drug addicts in Hell. And he's the first to realize that it was because of Alastor. Sure, people still purchased and did drugs. Especially those new Sinners. But Alastor's voice somehow cured that addiction over time. This leads to Valentino and Vox to come up with a system that cuts out radio in their territories. It's illegal to have radios there. This creates places of extreme violence and addiction.

Alastor's deals change too. He offers protection, in reason, and power to protect yourself. In exchange for your Soul. But his exchange is puzzling. He holds two Souls, maybe three if you want him to have Angel. And neither of them really do anything for Alastor. Sure, Alastor drinks at the bar in the casino and asks Husk for advice, while Husk actually does take being a supportive role during episodes seriously. Nifty follows Alastor around and obsessively cleans spaces that Alastor stays in for long. Angel maybe even tag teams with Husk to help with soothing Alastor through episodes and acts as entertainment in the casino. (Alastor accidentally sets up huskerdust early. Or maybe. On purpose?)

Pentious works with Baxter, until they have a falling out over different technology and the fact that Baxter goes to work for Vox. Pentious takes the kids (eggs) in the divorce and goes to cry to Alastor. And Alastor starts to slowly allow Angel to invite Cherri. Asking her about her bomb constructions. Getting the three to talk about inventions and such, just for Alastor to take a back seat and let the two slowly realize they like each other.

Alastor doesn't know exactly how to get Baxter. And doesn't actually want the guy until he's out from under Vox's thumb. He feels bad for Nifty, given she's recognized a pattern.

First Zestiel and Carmine (no Nifty. They're just friends!), the Angel and Husk (Husk likes long legged twinks and has even before dying, don't pun that in him.), and now Pentious and Cherri!!! Alastor has nothing to say to that last one. Because he knows he set that one up. That it would have been a long shot unless someone knew the two of them.

Nifty, no, don't cry! He'll eventually find you a nice man who's a bad boy! Just don't cry! He has far too high of standards for you! Don't worry, he's looking!

Nifty gets even more heart broken when Alastor takes them to the hotel and sees Vaggie and Charlie. She points and cries, "Again?!?! That's the Angel who fell six years ago!!! The one you placed close to the Princess Morningstar so that she could help! You said it was just because she's Nephilim and would know what to do!!! But their dating now!!!!!! When is it my turn, sir!?!?!" This also causes chaos because now Vaggie knows this Sinner probably saved her life. And Charlie now knows that this big bad Overlord trusted her to save someone's life.

She gets a lightbulb moment when with Baxter. Because she remembers the Radio Demon being interested in him. Even after Pentious.

"You already knew who! You were just waiting for the perfect time. I never should have doubted you!!!"

Rosie will absolutely, even with their deal no longer existing properly, be trying to get Alastor into another deal, because he's powerful and dangerous and useful and she felt his soul and she wants him, so she would absolutely use what she thinks is psychosis to get him on her side/in her grasp.

Vox doesn't get it, but he knows Alastor sees and hears things that aren't there and it freaks him out and you are absolutely right that he feels powerful and strong and needed when Alastor, who's so strong, comes to HIM when he's scared - he genuinely enjoys those moments, and so him suggesting Alastor get a lobotomy to help with it is actually quite possibly one of if not the most selfless things he's done in a WHILE. Because he genuinely thinks it will help/cure Alastor, and that means he won't come to Vox anymore or curl up next to him while muttering about it being too much. It's fucked up, and Alastor takes it badly (quite reasonably) but he was genuinely being altruistic because he wanted Alastor to have help.

Alastor broadcasts his own peace and joy through his voice while broadcasting, and even seeing and hearing all the things doesn't stop him - in fact, with his enhanced ability to hear and see things, he might well end up broadcasting not just throughout pride, or even the other rings - but up to heaven, too! (possibly even down and up, to Roo and God, who get to enjoy the broadcasts too.)

Alastor is still the Radio Demon, and is feared just as much or more as he was before, but his broadcasts make people happy.

Oh god, Angel and Niffty and Alastor - Angel would have to get clean just so he can look after the other two, lol!

I can't comment that much on Alastor going for the hotel group and so on, because spoilers, but it would absolutely mess Vox up, and i love the idea of Niffty being upset because she hasn't gotten her bad boy yet! And then she meets and spends time with Baxter lol.

NOK! & OUAD! Fusion

Lucifer and Vaggi ask Alastor's mind why he looks like the Speaker when they see his Winner form. His mind cannot show them the collapsed timeline or the Grace 'donation'. But they can hears his thoughts about how he views her similar to his mother. To which, they are confused. Because they already know and saw that his mother was human. When they ask about that, he clarifies that his human mother is his Maman. But that Anastasia gave up a piece of herself for him. Vaggi and Lucifer are confused on when the fuck the Speaker got a human name.

They gloss over it for a bit and eventually get to the scene of his mother telling him that the lizard is in pain and that Alastor should stop. So he does. And he asks about his father. And his mother describes a man named Asher, a saint, who gave Alastor to her. And Vaggi is the one that catches it.

One way, or another, the cast comes to the conclusion that Alastor is a Nephilim between the Speaker and a human woman. Velvette is excited about 'Lesbian Conception'. Charlie is excited over another Nephilim. Valentino is the one that points out that Alastor may have the same chastity views as the Speaker. Vox and Lucifer are enthralled, until they think Alastor literally doesn't have sexual attraction. Which is true, but not for the reasons they assume.

It gets pointed out how interesting it seems that Alastor purposely went to Hell and then joined the Hotel. Seeing as, if he's the some of the Speaker and pair that with the fact that he's the Radio Demon, it's as if he was trying to get people to hear the Word and get people to repent.

Especially in a Hell that had Alastor's Grace calming the people and making them peaceful during his broadcasts. Charlie raised in a Hell that wasn't so bad, seeing Sinners actually be kind to one another. Until he was gone for those seven years. And Hell became worse. But that people were becoming softer and kinder again with Alastor on the Radio again. Until the Battle that devastated the Hotel that he was injured in. And people flocked to the hotel because they wanted the chance to fight Angels, but left quickly when they realized Alastor was there. And when Alastor came back to the hotel and broadcast again, just a few times, Sinners flocked to the Hotel and stayed. (I actually think Lucifer would be more put off by Alastor having the virtue of chastity and not wanting him then Vox. With Vox, while he wants Alastor, and is in love with Alastor - I fully believe he also wants Velvette, but accepts that she is a lesbian and will never want him back, and he's alright with that as long as she's still his - still his friend, his partner, part of the Vees. Vox would accept Alastor never wanting him sexually as long as he is HIS, is his friend - it's being told they are not and never were FRIENDS that hurt him the most. Which means that is actually coming out better in this situation then Lucifer. The bar is on the floor but Lucifer is the devil and in hell, etc.)

And yes, they don't know Rosie sent him so they think - here is a child of the speaker of god herself, a nephilim of the highest divinity, who is only in hell because he made a deal, and he went to a hotel for redemption, and helped it and brought more people, just like his broadcasts made hell itself more peaceful - and then he was hurt. The man who SOLD HIS SOUL to be safe and unhurt, was tortured. Of COURSE he's not bringing sinners to the hotel. Of course he's not broadcasting.

(Vox is also planning to, when he gets Alastor's deal from Rosie and has him in the Tower, have him broadcast from there, both publicly to get more followers/workers/approval rating for himself, and also privately so he can listen and enjoy his addiction lol.)

NOK and Once Upon A December fusion.

Alastor doesn't get sent back to before his human death and deal with Rosie. Nope, he gets sent back to just before his second death, when he was making his deal with Charlie. So his deal sorta... Changes. He still has the exact same particular wording. But his intentions are what is tweaked. Mainly that it also adds in Baby Monitor AU. But with the twist Grace adds.

It doesn't just monitor her health, emotions, location, and give her a power boost. But it also heals her even from Angelic Steel. And, as you had said before about Lucifer's reaction to seeing a demon with Grace, most Angels can't heal. At least, not like that. Charlie ended up not needing it, but it did prevent Alastor from dying this time. But Husk and Nifty has minor injuries from their own weapons, only for them to realize to their shock that Alastor's power surged in them and healed them.

When the Baby Monitor is revealed, Husk and Nifty reveal that Alastor's power also heals his contracts from Angelic Steel. To prove it, they demonstrate with Vaggi's spear, giving themselves little knicks that after a moment swirl with energy and are healed. Then, before anyone else can react, Husk knicks Charlie. Just as Lucifer is about to threaten something worse than homicide, everyone watches as the same swirls of magic heal Charlie. Vaggi brings up that they also had a minor deal, gets a little cut, and gets healed.

To which Lucifer is having some horrifying realizations, but trudges on. A lot less critical, but needing to know how someone with such high ranking Grace came to Hell. "Charlie, you do not understand. Even very few of the Seraphim can do that. And not while unconscious on the floor."

To which they find out that Alastor 'asked to be safe', as they all assume. But Alastor is the strongest Sinner in Hell. Except he wasn't meant to be a Sinner. And the only way the deal is still valid is if Alastor is actually getting something out of it.

To which someone says that the deal keeps Alastor out of Heaven. And that Alastor thinks that he would be less safe in Heaven than in Hell.

Meanwhile, Alastor is definitely a Sinner. Not for those he killed. He only hunted the worst of humanity. Nope. It was for being a cannibal.

But everyone assumes he's some clerical error.

And Lucifer feels like a fucking monster. An Angel decided to give up their super rare healing abilities to protect his daughter (and others he had deals with) and act like a Guardian. Lucifer knows, personally, that Guardians will suffer through the absolute worst to protect their 'assignments'. Alastor thought he was protecting Charlie from Lucifer. (At least, that's Lucifer's assumption.) Alastor was willing to be tortured by the Devil himself to guard Charlie.

When Vox gets his deal with Alastor, he decides to test it with a small knick. Vox wasn't stupid enough to give himself a weakness. He's cautious and waits a few hours, or even a day, until the deal has allowed Alastor's powers to run through Vox's body before he tries this.

It heals.

He's feeling like a God, even more than before. Even more reason not to be afraid of Lucifer. Or Sera. Or anyone, really.

Ooh. Okay this is actually pretty complicated, because of WHY Anastasia, on God's orders, sent Alastor back, and what the aim was. They wanted him to not make that deal with Rosie, hence why he was back to when he was talking with her.

For something like this, when he's going back to season one episode 7 or so?

I tend to think that, in this situation, with Alastor's soul going back? He's still free of the deal, because its not in his soul anymore.

Rosie would be VERY confused.

But also - well, the reason Anastasia gave him that power was so he'd have something that wasn't from the deal, so he would feel safe enough not making it. The whole point was to get him to NOT MAKE THAT DEAL, though its very possible she gives him power anyway as a gift because she ended up liking him lol. Maybe if he's going back to a time when he's still bound, and he refuses because he won't be under that anymore! He went through pain and humiliation and being tied to a chair for a ridiculously long time just to get free once and then he DIED he is not doing it again! This would be getting into God's motives for this whole thing, which is sort of obvious (I say it in the first chapter) but also sort of a spoiler, so...

Maybe he WAS going to be going back, but instead something slipped and he went sideways, and he doesn't realise - until Lucifer finds out about the deal, and oh. Oh, Lucifer can hurt sinners. (Also is that Adam as a sinner? the fuck?) but he absolutely experiments with his new power by pushing some of it into Charlie's deal, to both track and protect and help her, and if he's still bound and decides to do the same Vox plan but figure out a way to NOT die at the end, he would absolutely give Vox the extra boost and protection too. Because its not an automatic thing. It's something he GIVES them. (And he's soft and still cares despite everything)

And I love the notion of Lucifer finding that and revealing that, contrary to what Husk and Niffty thought - this is a BIG DEAL.

Like, healing at all? Big deal. Raphael level. Healing ANGELIC STEEL WOUNDS?

That is 'direct blessing from god or the speaker' level, that is - Lucifer is being forced to reassess everything, and it might actually work here because he's not thinking of Alastor as a sinner, but a winner. And if they think he wants to be safe FROM HEAVEN - well, the genocide probably didn't help his opinion of them did it?

Vox, meanwhile, is also freaking out because - Alastor would have been in heaven without the deal? He might never have met him? He might STILL GO if the deal breaks? What if he doesn't feel safe anymore? He needs to get that deal. He needs to get that deal YESTERDAY and keep him safe and take care of him and keep him from going to heaven - and if he does he needs to go up there and get him back!

But yes, when he finally tests it, and sees that wound heal? He absolutely feels like a God.

also the vee's reaction to someone from Alastor’s time that he HAAAAATED would be fun. presumably Vox knows Mimzy but he Does Not Know Anyone Else so he’s sitting there like “caleb??? who’s this fucker why does he know Alastor grumble grumble — WAIT ALASTOR HAD MORE FRIENDS IN LIFE??!! WHO TF IS LAVINIA?? WHAT. WHAT.”

Oohhh. Okay, so the one Alastor killed in the main timeline was just because he had the opportunity, and he'd been an asshole to him, he didn't know about Lavinia, so his first reaction to him coming to the hotel would be to laugh.

And possibly kill him again - which isn't exactly conductive to Caleb revealing he murdered his friend, especially because he didn't know they knew each other.

So I honestly don't know HOW Alastor would find out - if he did though, Caleb is going on the broadcast.

As for sinner form - it will be different because he'll die differently in OUAD, but I reckon, for canon timeline, he has a camera for a head, and possibly antlers for dying in the bayou.

Maybe Caleb comes to Vee Tower while Alastor is imprisoned, hoping to essentially buy the chance to torture/rape/film/murder Alastor a few times off Vox, shows records of his past victims and some of them are from when he was alive, and that's how Alastor recognises her and immediately is out of the chair and ripping Caleb's throat out with his teeth? That could be fun!

Mostly because of Vox's reaction to the whole thing.
