Day 9: Flying

American kestrels fly into the wind to maintain a hover while they scout for food below. Without the headwind the kestrel cannot hover in place like a hummingbird, but they’re nevertheless amazingly acrobatic flyers.

so here’s a raptor i’ve been trying to draw on and off lately, which is trill’s new weird shadow bird who can preen him while he sleeps so he can pretend he understands basic hygiene.
