The weight of the crown is a heavy burden.
From the day you accept it is the day you are tasked with bearing the kingdom on your back.
You are expected to do whatever you can to protect its people, your people, no matter the cost.
Even if that cost was a life.
Lucifer had done all that he could to protect the hell born from the wrathful crazed monsters that were thrown into the pit that he created, but it was no use.
Heaven had decreed that he would be made to suffer for his actions of tempting humanity by never being able to touch a single hair on their head.
The only thing he could do was try and enforce his law as king and see that the sinners followed it.
However, it was for naught as Lilith had done all that she could to unravel the thin protection he had placed on the weaker demons by empowering the sinners, deluding them to the point where they believed they were above even the very angels.
It turned them even more violent and power hungry, lashing out at any being that looked at them twice.
No matter what he tried he just couldn’t protect Hell’s true people.
As each day passed and wore on the sinners continued to grow in numbers and strength.
It wouldn’t be long now until they took over everything.
