❧- dit moi un secret
Drabble Meme (not accepting)
Leave a “Tell Me” in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about my character confessing something to yours (specified: Celestia Telling Nishiki her real name)
∑– Celestia’s stiletto nails massage along Nishiki’s scalp, using her nails to create designs of spades, diamonds, hearts, and a great attempt at clubs on his skin.
It is a pleasant way to wake up from a nap.
He rolls over on the couch, keeping his head still in her lap to look at her. She looks preoccupied-- lost in thought, she has no poker face. The ghoul wouldn’t go as far as to say he relished in these moments of her because of the vulnerability she posed-- but he did get excited at the chance to figure out more about this cold and non-committal woman he called his girlfriend. He has only experienced this opportunity one other time and he realized it is a very short moment for him to pry information out. His brat is excellent at reading people that she only has to look him in the eyes to figure out that he is ready to pull out her secrets-- the little shit head.
“Tell me what’s on your mind?”
“Hmm?” Her nails stop and her infamous red lips turned upwards.
“You look lost in thought.” His fingers trace along the Gambler's pale skin, Nishiki continues to gaze up at her while she still focuses on an important nothing on the wall.
Celestia finally looks down at him. Her red hues ready to take a gamble. “What if you don’t like what I am thinking? Most people don’t like secrets.”
Nishiki smiled and shrugged, “if you tell me your secret I’ll tell you one of mine.”
Celestia stays quite and the two continue to be fixated on one another. Nishiki knows she liked to gamble but most often he assumed she didn’t trust his information to equal hers, therefore it didn’t have value for her to tell her secret. The ghoul will take her silence as a good thing rather than her flat out no’s or her fake secret to replace the original real one. Nishiki raises his eyebrow as her smile fell and is replaced with a scowl, she breaks her contact with him to look back to the wall. He becomes more interested as she shows a genuine emotion. It is the most he has ever felt that she trusted him.
“I do not think we have been introduced. I am Taeko Yasuhiro.”
It is a very fleeting feeling in Nishiki, one that causes him to laugh out loud. He waves his hands to try as if to apologize for a response to her tensing up under him. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he says through fits of laughs before finally settling down. She pulls her arm away from him her scowl changes to her former poker expression.
“I’m sorry,” Nishiki apologizes again. “I wasn't laughing at your name. I was laughing because no matter what your name you are still a bratty princess to me.”
While Celeste quickly looks down at him, Nishiki’s mocking grin turns down to a softer smile as she casts her red daggers at him. He is partially pleased that she dropped her guard again to show him her emotions.
“Hmm,” he hums calmly. Taking her arm and placing it on his chest, spinning his fingers over her skin, still gazing up at her with his head in her lap. “I like Celestia Ludenberg. I like Taeko Yasuhiro. I love you.”
