HAPPY Late BIRTHDAY
@corncobbro
Weeee if you're still doing that emoji art ask, perhaps could you do A2 for Sangrando and A7 for Deceptus? B3
((The last one in my inbox! yes indeed I am still doing these asks wink. Here’s a “I have no idea what you’re talking about” face if I’ve ever seen one))
((Why. Why this. Why the skeleton this. What did we do to deserve this.))
Coming soon, the continuation of the Metus trilogy.

Deceptus Your greatest enemy is yourself.
Wally kept running.
He wasn't sure why, but something inside of him said, shouted really, that if he stopped he would never start again. So Wally ran. He didn't know where he was running to or if he was even going anywhere, but running seemed to be his only option.
Slowly, the whiteness began to dissolve into a swirling vortex. The tiniest pinprick of grey appeared at the center of the vision, and Wally started towards it as much as he was able. It grew in size, and he suddenly realized he was running towards a frozen wasteland.
A blast of cold on his face returned feeling to his body, red boots struggling to gain purchase on the icy surface. Skidding to an awkward stop, Wally West felt the freezing air bite his lungs. It was good to feel again. His green eyes widened as the desolate wasteland slowly began to feel familiar. Wally recognized this place. It was where he had been just minutes before, fighting the MFD.
"Artemis?" The howl of the wind swallowed his shout.
Taking a step forward, Wally felt his body drain of energy. He stumbled as his toe caught something in the snow, something hard and metal. The wind blew stray flakes off the face of a bronze plaque, and his own visage stared up at him. July 4th, 2016 was stamped into the metal below his portrait.
"ARTEMIS?!?!"
"She isn't here, Kid Flash." He recognized that voice. Wally turned, much slower than he liked. He felt drained of all energy, like he hadn't eaten in weeks. "She hasn't been here for a long, long time."
Even before his emerald eyes traced over the black hair, blue tunic, and scarred face, Wally recognized the voice. "Savage! What did you do with her?" He tried to take a step towards the villain, but stumbled again, falling face first into the snowpack.
Vandal Savage laughed, a deep, booming sound that seemed to carry, even over the Arctic wind. "Do to her? Child, she hasn’t been here in four years. She moved on."
