RK800 IS WALL-E AND RK900 IS EVE EVERYONE GO THE FUCK HOME
Best Boy 💙
I conquered my fear, y’all.
Those that follow my art know I exclusively draw equines and the occasional still life piece. Drawing people has always scared the shit out of me since its so far out of my comfort zone.
But alas, it was Bryan and his portrayal of this goofy little android sent by cyberlife that finally pushed me to try. So here is the result of hours of sketching and scrapping and shading and cursing. A little somewhat neo-traditional tattoo mock up.
This started as a “hey, I wanna see a super sweet d:bh tattoo” and turned into a “well what if I got a super sweet d:bh tattoo” and now here I am trying to talk myself out of finishing my half sleeve with this.
So what about the Connor FUNKO POP?
Does it exist yet?
Because now I'd like to have Kara and Markus as FUNKOS as well... And that's some serious demand...
A moeda é, portanto, o próprio Connor.
E cabe a nós escolher qual lado seguir.
Connor and the two sides of the coin
[This is a review of my authorship, as a gamer, from my experience with the game]
Detroit Become Human is a game in which the end and the consequences are derived from choices made by the player during the weft. Entered in the history of three characters, Kara, Connor and Markus, we become responsible for the destiny of each one.
The first time that we presented to Connor, we see the name Android RK800 written in your back. Then we see that he plays with a coin, passing it from hand to hand, referring to the options you have in the game. “Liberty” it is what is recorded in the currency when it between your index and middle fingers. It is not revealed exactly why Connor be obsessed by this coin, but we can draw some reflections and conclusion.
A coin has two sides, heads or tails. Connor was assigned to unravel the homicides involving divergent and eliminate them. He begins his research along with the lieutenant Hank and in the course of the weft is given to us several options for which the human side speak louder. The coin can represent our choices, played fairly in the air. How, for example, choose to save the fish or not.
Everything or Nothing. You can choose by obedience to Amanda, or by loyalty conceived by the feeling of friendship to Hank. Choose between empathy and indifference. Between freedom and bondage .
Connor is perhaps the most closely resembles humans, because its history if converges in a matter of internal conflict. To be doubtful between their own decisions, divided between his duty and what is right. We can decide if Connor becomes a divergent, create bonds and emotions, or if he will endure cold in its original mission and combat the revolutionaries until the end. Choose between reason and feelings has always been part of us humans. It is an eternal struggle that we are trying to overcome. Connor is what best demonstrates the ambiguity of this question is, in fact, human, divided between the two sides of the coin. The currency is, therefore, the own Connor. And it is up to us to choose which side to follow.
