when the art is fight (my profile)
Spreads my entire hand of cards faceup across the table because I feel like I'm descending into hysterics- WHY DID IT EAT THE MOST IMPORTANT IMAGE
What could this possibly mean
The reason I'm comfortable calling Indi an OC despite being connected to a pre-existing character that isn't mine is because the relationship is less "two aus removed" (though that's the simplest way to put it) and more like "okay so what if Character B (expy) was sort of like Character A (the og) but with a bunch of important differences in backstory, character development, and appearance, yet still vaguely recognizable, and then what if in one timeline, Character B became Character C, who very intentionally ship-of-theseus'd themself to be completely distinct from Character A and buried all their Character B connections and lore at the bottom of the ocean" and Indi is Character C. Character B still exists despite my efforts to put them to rest, which is cool because I like thinking about them but also not cool because it lays my entire hand face up across the table. Indi is not pleased with this. And that, too, is part of her character
thinking about the time I made an art piece using only colors picked directly from The Death of Julius Caesar by Vincenzo Camuccini
