Some of the Abnormalities that got super obvious aberrations in Limbus Company also have what I call "hear me out" aberrations. So like, we’ve got The Burrowing Heaven with its nervous system splayed like wings and its theme of gaze, and then there’s Stuck on Heaven (the obvious one) and Spiral of Contempt (the less obvious one)

It’s probably the best starting point for this idea because even though it doesn’t look like The Burrowing Heaven, its MD event mentions the word “burrowing” and the thing about it digging into your gaze so it makes a lot of sense for them to be related, even if it can’t be gleaned from appearance and name alone. Now, the others

I’ve mentioned it before but Overdue Assignments feels like a lower-risk kind of aberration. I would call it a joke aberration but its EGO gift is busted

This is the one I’m most confident about. Look at him

Hear me out: Sunset Wayfarer

Okay this whole post has actually been so my theory here seems more plausible because this is the biggest hear me out yet. Sunset Wayfarer doesn’t *look* like it’s related to Funeral, but its EGO gift is called Eclipse of Scarlet Moths, following the structure of Funeral’s name (it also calls them butterflies in its md event), and though it holds reverence for life instead of death, they share a similar temperament. This has been in my drafts for a while but because we’re getting a Sunset Wayfarer EGO I need to put it out into the world NOW
