Kona had her first hike today! Hikes are great for sniffaris/decompression walks as well as for exposure for dogs like Kona who didn't have the proper exposure during her very spongy puppy stage. Thanks to a few months of foundation work at her home and neighborhood it made her ready to go on outings such as a hike! Duke had his first hike with me today. He didn't do too bad! He saw an off leash dog and someone on a small dirt bike. He didn't approve of them since he couldn't say hi. Zorro enjoyed his first decompression walk today. I have a new 7ft leash on order for future decompression walks. He gets nervous easily but did very well today even with other families out and not ever being on a nature trail before. I love him and cant wait to do more trails with him!
