See what had happened was... I liked the look of that Christmas Garland on top of the kitchen cabinets SO much that i never took it down. i swapped out the Christmas accents for forsythia and butterflies and little birds. It also hides the random assortment of items stored up there. i made a "sofa table" last week with some cinderblocks and a 1x6x6 from @loweshomeimprovement. i originally planned to buy one and then it occurred to me that you wouldn't be able to see it anyway soooo... I went with the economy version Then i ran around the house grabbing throw pillows, a lamp and tchotchkes and i'm pretty pleased with the results. the living room is getting there. I know it's not the Instagram way to show an incomplete room...but this is a work in progress. And this is what I help folks do with their spaces. We get the vision together, design a plan and work the plan. And we celebrate at EVERY stage! I have been obsessed with barcarts for what feels like FOREVER. You can check out my Pinterest page and see how long I've been pinning things about them. This first photo is what our barcart looked like when we moved in. #tbt I ordered bar shelves from @amazonhome back in March. We stood on the aisle with the anchors in @Lowes until we felt satisfied that they wouldn't fall off the wall. Them shelves are STURDY, y'all. They have the weight of something my grandfather would have built. Last weekend we FINALLY hung them. I ran all around the house grabbing things to do my preliminary styling with...Et VOILA!!! BARCART BAE WAS BORN!!! I SO look forward to changing it up for every holiday! It's like a lil party waiting to happen. I'm not done at all!
