I can't get over how Tales of Berseria's main villian is hard carried like this by their grunts at least to me
Which to clarify, I do love Berseria, it's probably some of my favorite PS4 games but its main villian is not the game's strongest aspects for me & to be fair at least it's not Mr. Big Sworded Simp from Dawn of the New World or Ms. Green Haired Filler from Graces but these are side villians at best, not the main villain in Berseria
Which is why I find crazy that their grunts are unironically some of Berseria's highlights for me & not the main villain, this'll be like if Zagi was the only highlight of Vesperia's cast of villains & Zagi is an amazing grunt but he's ONE of the amazing villians of Vesperia & the main one had a better motivation that wasn't "my wife & child died so I gotta do this as a coping mechanism" like weak sauce especially since I think it kinda robs Berseria being an ultra dark Tales game it was advertised & it does deliver especially with how messed up the implications the demons are in Berseria but they couldn't commit with its main villian
They should've been massively ultra sinister like Yuuki Terumi from Blazblue, Dr. Weil from Mega Man Zero or Yomi Hellsmile from Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, they would've enhanced Berseria so much for me
Tho despite that, I still enjoy Berseria & this is one issue I've always had in the back of my mind that I wanted to be sure after beating the game & looking back in hindsight
