Not in as much pain as i was worried about being in (i had good reason my back was on fuckin FIRE last night) so time to torture Disco a bit

Obligatory Warning: This post is focused on Red Weeks and while not graphic i advise skipping this one if you're uncomfortable with the topic.

Charlie having had shorter red weeks than average but as a result experiencing the everything thats usually spread across the span of 4-5 days in the first 2. By the time he gains an audience with Prophet he's been on T long enough that he just gets phantom pain in his lower back and phantom cramps and he eventually got The Surgery once it was something he could actually afford.

NASTY lower back pain within 12-48 hours of an impending red week that has him down and out for a bit because moving too much feels like hellfire.

Emotional dependence on iron supplements and sweet treats (pre-HRT)/persistent but not obsessive craving for sweet treats and chocolate (Post-HRT)

Sulky as FUCK about being on "light duty" (writing/editing and scheduling) after The Surgery to the point where Hemlock had to bring Timbers to keep him company due to Charlie needing a mood boost to keep his mind off the fact he cant play the drums for a bit.

He is NOT prone to mood swings but the pain and general discomfort makes him quieter and drowsier than usual to the point where any upcoming concerts are 2 weeks away so they still get a full week of practice

This man is clingy as FUCK when Hemlock finally steps in to bring him home with him to ride it out. Soon as hes swaddled in a blanket thats it. Hemlock's personal space becomes their personal space due to how warm Hemlock is and he is not allowed to move once Charlie makes himself comfortable with him as a pillow. (And Hemlock does use it as an excuse to get out of doing shit)

Hemlock knowing a LOT more about the topic of red weeks than the rest of the guys (bar Disco) cuz there's no fuckin way that he HASN'T done rallies, protests, fundraisers etc revolving around gender tax, women's rights, lgbtq rights and other topics deemed "controversial" by bigots

Charlie finding the fact Hemlock had to sit Benny down to explain things to him endearing but also highly amusing because Benny had forgotten he was trans and had (rightfully) immediately assumed he had gotten hurt more than previously thought during his most recent fight

Benny tending to lightly run his hand through Charlie's hair to soothe when Hemlock isn't around and it being paired with Hemlock absentmindedly kneading his thigh when he is around
