Mecha Knight’s serial number, M-7110, is a form of gorowase (Japanese number puns). The numbers “7110” when pronounced in Japanese sound like “na-i-to” which is a pun on Meta Knight’s name. Same case for Dedede Clone, the digits “0030” sound like “ō-sa-ma” meaning “king”.
