It’s a bit early, but Merry Christmas, everyone!
It’s been a crazy year, and though it had a solemn note in Q3, at least Fragments’ future is secure even if my upload schedule is dipping to make it plausible. Thanks to all of you who stay with the series, and especially to those who vocally give feedback in any way, from follows/favs/likes to comments and actual reviews.
But it’s not Christmas without presents right? That’s why you’re getting presents... three of them.
First is a new Lost Shard, now available for your viewing pleasure on FF.net or AO3. It’s short, sweet, and to the point, with a little bit of comedy and romance.
But what’s better than a shard? A full fledged fragment, for certain. That’s why Fragment 89 has been surprise uploaded today! Have an early treat of Artemis on FF.net!
Finally, there’s the third gift, which is a bit of a work in progress. As all of you likely know since you’re looking at the tumblr, parts of my information databse got smacked thanks to the NSFW bot. Rather than take the time to repair what’s been damaged and figure ways past the filters for my usual trend of final ascension arts, I decided to push for something I’ve been meaning to for a while.
Namely this:
www.fragmentsofchaldea.com
That’s right, Fragments of Chaldea now has its own official site separated from tumblr. It will house all the direct information and have actual working menus with mobile functionality. The CSS isn’t quite perfect, but I feel it does the job adequately enough.
As a start, though info is still being transferred over, Artemis’ fragment insight can be found on the website instead of tumblr.
But what will happen to the tumblr?
It’ll stay of course, but operations on it will now shift. I’ll be tossing out most of the menu stuff since it will now be on the main site, which means I can use this as a giant Ask/Comment box from here on. I can even do some reposts of relevant information. In summary, it just means I can do more than just try to narrow down what’s important people need to know so it doesn’t get buried under mounds of comments and asks. The website will handle Fragments-verse canon information purely instead.
Have a Merry Christmas, everyone!
