1x19 and 1x20 is the moment I became à Skyeward shipper. Weird, huh? But like you sqid, these two episodes were brilliant and cut deep. It was not random.
Ohh I don’t think it’s weird at all. The timing of the his revealed betrayal, and them finally starting to get together, as much as it hurt and devastated us, was truly brilliant writing. They really knew just when to stab the shippers in the back lol. And I loved how much they made sure you knew Ward wasn’t evil or completely bad, he did have feels, he did love her and the team, and they really made sure the writing, and Brett’s acting, showed that. So yeah, I’m surprised that there are people who don’t ship it. Even after season 2, I still think their scenes have been amazing and still have hope that things will work out eventually, although not without angst and a lil more blood spilt first.
But yeah, those two episodes were amazing! Lol. Sorry for the long ramble.
