So, last night was amazing. Lizzy, Logan and I get to Pittsburg running a little late. We check into our hotel which is a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be, with a kick ass view. We rush out the door and get in a taxi. When we step out of the cab at The Alter Bar, Rome is standing on the street smoking. Just talking to one of his band mates. I jumped on the opportunity to meet him. We all go say 'hi' I was a little nervous so I didn't say much else. Did I mention I also won sound check tickets from twitter too? Well, I did! I was so happy about that. I won two passes but I went with two other people, Logan and Lizzy! When we met Rome outside I told him how Lizzy had to wonder the street while we were in the sound check. His response? "Fuck that, she can come in too." No hesitation or anything. The sound check was awesome. The local band that opened was okay. The second opening act Anuhea had a beautiful voice. It was just amazing. Finally the night peaked when Rome got on stage. (We were front and center by the way) I have no voice today because I screamed so loud. That man will be famous, and I mean super famous. His voice is so beautiful. Every single song sounded amazing. He played all the songs from his EP and some songs from the album he's about to release. Then he did a few Acoustic songs. He sang Take it or Leave it right to me. I have no words to explain my joy. Every song sounded better than on the album. My life is complete.
