It's time to do another deep clean on my dreads. I'm adding lime oil this time.

how do you deep clean?
take a giant bowl that all your hair will fit into.
then mix Baking soda and water. I tbs per 1 cup water.. until the bowl is as full as you need to cover all your dreads completely.
Add Tea Tree Oil, Lavender oil, rosemary oil, if you have them..
peppermint oil if your scalp is itchy.
When it is all mixed together, find somewhere to lay with your head in the bowl. leave your head in there for 5-10 mins. if your neck gets sore just do five then leave the mixture in your hair for five additional minutes while you shower or find something else to do.
then rinse! rinse well..
Then do Apple Cider Vinegar rinse.
1 tbs acv per 1 cup water. I just put this in a jug then pour it over my head and leave it for 3-5 minutes.
Rinse again.. now your dreads are going to be lovely and clean! very clean!
