It Won’t. You can easily get the facsimile of happiness by throwing money at people and people just befriending you so they can leech you of your money. True Happiness is formed with bonds, true bonds forged and tested through time, stupidity, and college. And cats. Because cats purr and they will fucking cuddle if you get them happy enough, but nyeh. You get a sense of satisfaction of completing That One Thing that took you the better part of ‘who the hell keeps track anymore and honestly I pretty much gave this up as a lost cause how the hell did this finish’. But I digress, I’m here to talk happiness and a sense of belonging in the motherfucking world. Money will not make you happy, it can help you keep the tightest motherfucking hold onto your weak flimsy piece of happiness for as long as possible, until it gets fucking ripped away from you by the sands of time. Money can, and WILL make the getting of happiness easier, but it also makes it harder to keep hold of. Look around you. Look up from your screened devices. Stop hyperfocusing on everything here, and just look. (This would be better done in like a city, bus, or subway, or really any place with a lot of people killing time by staring at the tiny ass world in their phones/tablets/computers/tvs.) Do you want to know what made me stop and consider and make this? I was reminded of the futility of making a long-lasting mark in the annals of time. We will all be swept away, eventually. Sure it may take more time to get rid of the stubborn buggers (like, ww2, Hitler, America, The sheer stupidity of the internet, etc) I was tasked in my economics class to fucking write a quote about money and how to deal with it. This monster started as that. Now, I’m going to go play more Illusion of Gaia and wait for reblogs. I want discourse on this, discourse/discussion/whatever you name is you explaining epic fucks of tumblr. I want your damned opinions. Happy living. Don’t bleed on the carpet, that carpet took me two weeks to make.
