The concept of life has been dressed up to be getting through school, moving on to college, getting a job, marriage, a house, making a “comfortable” living for yourself.
In reality none of these things are valuable or matter. In society we have bred ourselves into thinking that pieces of paper have value, so we sacrifice the most able years of our lives to relentlessly work for something that we’re convinced we need to survive. It’s ironic that so many mental problems stem from financial stability, schooling and the pressure to be seen as not only functioning but contributing to a society that was created by humans in the first place. It’d almost be laughable if it wasn't so depressingly irreversible & deeply rooted that only in your imagination can you see what Earth was really supposed to be like.
