I liked the iron lung movie. For some reason I can't stop rotating this and outer wilds together in my brain. They're so similar but say such different things about the end of the universe. Of course humanity fights as long as possible to fight for their universe, while the hearthian you play as gets to put all that misplaced hope at the potential for their own life and the potential of every nomai and hearthian they built their knowledge off of towards the hope of a new universe.

I got called a strange, gay, little man last night because I arranged my battleships in a confusing way to my opponent, and if that isn't a compliment I don't know what is.

#alternatively I've lived with my roommate for 3 days and she's already called people “odd” in a negative connotation for showing #autistic traits like 4 times. Maybe I'm misinterpreting the connotation but it *seems* derogatory. It's fine I don't need to talk to her #too much. not gonna start arguments with my roommate 3 days in.#also I need to remember that no one can read my mind that when I refer to myself as a 'trans guy' and that I mean nonbinary masc aligned #rather than just a man like most would assume. beach trip today. Did some extremely gender and species affirming things. I didn't think writing my name in the sand would feel so affirming. I didn't think chasing after seagulls would feel so affirming either.

I wanted to sink my fangs and claws into their flesh. I obviously didn't catch anything, but I had so much fun. Running around makes me feel like a creature :3
