Like people, deer also use familiar and well traveled paths to get around with less effort.  These trails are called "deer runs" and they can literally be highways for deer.  This is just a few of the pictures I captured recently along a deer run in Belmont.  Although they're not all pictured I counted at least 8-10 does and 4-6 bucks.  That is a lot of deer.
