I hate when people misgender Aeons. I know that Tumblr actually doesn't do it for the most part, but I've seen it on every other platform and I'm tired of this.

I myself don't really care for genders, it's whatever but I can't say it wasn't exciting then hsr told us that aeons use they/them. It's so refreshing to see genderless cosmic entity for once.

Like, what do you mean you see the concept of destruction and just decide on calling THEM a he??? You just look at eldritch abomination, skip over the whole decaying, endlessly bleeding, with limbs cut off the body and just decide THEY are a he?

A bunch of masks and the suspicious shadow behind is suddenly aquired a gender?

Or you just look at a living, sentient unimaginable huge rock that is capable of building and just... call THEM by masculine pronouns.

Or a cannibalistic (not really but shh) being made out of puzzle pieces that are actually parts of other things that harmonize together, forever more. Sure sounds like a woman to me.

Oh, but Deer! Some people speak a different language— that is not an excuse to not learn the right pronoun for a specific being. If you can get names, places, entire pieces of fics ect. in English, you sure can use they/them. Speaking different languages is not an excuse to spread misinformation everywhere else.

But other languages have special pronouns for deities! You're in the English part of the fandom, again use the right terms that are cannon. It's not hard to use they/them in 2025. If you refuse, use the original ones from the language that is also not that hard.

But Aeons don't care! I care because I want characters that actually use gender neutral pronouns in hsr. I want to feel cool because Lan has it too.

I need more fics with the right pronoun being used for every aeons. Let me be happy to have cosmic horror that uses the same ones as me. Let me hold Nanook's tit and have the writer use they/them for THEM.

it’s not a matter of whatever labels people feel most comfortable in. it’s a matter of basic understanding about sexual orientation.

ppl rnt made 2 fit perfectly inside the boxez that strict labelz made to the accepted definition, if u rlly try to think abt it the only time when itz bad to use a contradictory label is if sum1 is purposefully trying to mock ppl who actually use those labelz. lesboyz, bi lesbianz, and straight lesbianz rlly don't do any harm to the community.
