The Astral Express moved fast, fast enough to make the stars with endless space between them move past them. It was peaceful, the only sound in the wagon was a murmur of mechanisms and lively conversion in the other.

Himeko's gold eyes gleamed as her gaze moved from the big window to the figure hiding in the shadows that the closest sun had created.

The figure, one that is supposed to mimic human appearance like one of Herta's dolls yet clearly failed in the most obvious places, was the new member of the Express. Often, the travellers on board changed their names, or abandoned those completely until a nickname stuck to their person enough to stop calling them Nameless.

No one pressed the haunted by the stellaron for a name, because if they were to ask a stellaron would answer something that they would not wish to know. Himeko herself had to admit she reacted faster than someone called her the navigator rather than by her real name.

"what do you think Akivili felt when traveling those stars?" The question woke the alien from her reveries, blinking quickly.

The navigator opens her mouth, her thoughts spilling faster than she lets herself admit when she questioned the nameless, "do you feel lonely?" instead of answering their question. She received a head shake as an answer, Himeko smiled softly at that. "Do you feel excited?" A head shake answered her again, yet before she could ask another question, the doll's yellow eyes looked away from the alien.

"I..." They hesitate, hand scraped in places from skin colored paint raises to their chest where the Cancer of all Worlds was residing. "I don't think that... I can feel," they admit quietly.

Himeko humms under her nose, one pair of arms crossing over her chest. "Well, you answered it for yourself," she points out, another free hand pointing towards outside.

The nameless eyebrows furrow and lips press into a thin line. It was fascinating to see, a doll making expressions that even countless humanoids from the IPC she saw struggled to mimic. "Huh?"

"Aeons are... complicated, hard to understand, hard to comprehend in a way." The Planarcardian points towards the sun they had missed, light dimming around the woman. "Like all life forms you had seen and will see. And even you."

Himeko sighs softly, gold eyes closing for a moment. "If you understand yourself, you will be able to answer the questions you have for the world." She adds, "and for the religion."

New trailblazer blinks owlishly, then breaks into a small giggle. "You're weird, for a talking giant cat." They say, and Himeko pauses to wonder what exactly the cat is. Yet, she doesn't ask, simply noting for later to check if maybe Welt knows something about it.

The silence falls once more, and the light of the new star Astral Express passes falls gracelessly into the wagon. This time it doesn't illuminate only Himeko, but also the nameless who had stepped into it without previous shyness.

Regarding HSR universe as a whole I think it’s possible that mythus has already restarted the whole world once already, and that everything we’re seeing is LITERALLY all a myth, just a replay of things past, but the inclusion of false people that just seem real now is the only thing that’s substantially different.

(Such as: Gallagher.)

I just think it would be a cool concept if that it was canon in canon that HSR is a game and that everyone is as fake as any creation of Mythus now, you know, barring the fact that some were there when the world was real and others were not.

Trailblaze being the 4th path was somewhat expected? I mean the biggest theory in fandom is Trailblaze = Finality, but this patch also called us Akivili in written dialogue (which is kinda more valid in my head than what they call us if something different than what is written there) We are going to experience evil twin shit and I'm here for it.

So, to answer your question. Absolutely, he can twist his head around like an owl, he's aware that it doesn't look nice or friendly to people so he usually refrains from it in public. It's a different story around other Heirs, he often does that to scare them off. Anaxa for sure had the worst reaction to that internally, externally Castorice probably.

And for the preening... Well...

We know he does bath (and his bath water is sold by cipher) , so it's safe to assume he does it human style. So, no proper preening for that one. If you were to pet him, you'd have a fistful full of feathers that begged to be released.

After a long time of not posting anything about my alien au, I came back with an idea of Aventurine. All of the sketches are really rough so I'll explain what was the idea behind every one and I want you Aven's fans to decide which idea is the best.

First is the full on, least humanoid more animalistic look. His tail is very real, as well as he has longer feather growing at the back of his head. With feathers on the head, I tried to copy his in-game hairstyle but keep it as Birdy as possible. He also has earrings because her fancy like that. I'd actually assume he's tall for humans (around 2,45m??), but short for his species standard because of his past. Avens outfit actually is more actualized for his alien body, but I left some things from his original outfit. And make his boob window HUGE.

The second design is half-half. His body is more human, besides his neck and head. I didn't care about the outfit because I don't think I would change much about it in this version, just make it more wing friendly. Since I took Halovians wings, I thought I might as well give another bird themed alien wings lol. His head feathers are also shorter, but there's obviously more of them. I think a cane would suit him, mostly because of how long his neck is I think he'd have some back problems.

And third, most obvious. A human. With some addictions. His "hair" are actually feathers, and his ears despite looking like wings do not move at all (maybe wiggle like elf ears would). He also has three(3) small crystals on his forehead that would probably reflect the light in a way it would make them look like eyes. I didn't have an idea for his outfit, but I think he would stay the closest to in game look.

I like to think it's because it was the first time us as the player abandoned TB's point of view to move around with other characters. They were mindless husk because until now we did everything for them.

TB discovered they can't be lazy bum anymore so they just pushed the memories out of their mind lmao. I get it.
