A lot of people haven't taken into consideration the students who will be psychologically scarred by seeing someone die in a violent and gory manner right in front of their faces. I don't care what you believe, but there could have been others killed. It's very lucky that man did not miss and hit an unintended target, and then a family would have lost someone they loved. I will cheer for Kirk's death like everyone else, but I just need to remind you all— people witnessed it. Families were terrified for their children. I hope that everyone will consider and remember the people impacted psychologically by this.
These are all reasonable points to remember, and to be very clear- if you are worried or upset by what happened I do NOT blame you. I don't like that we're now in a situation where we celebrate the deaths of our fellow humans, myself, but when our fellow humans forget that they are in fact FELLOW humans, it's important to have ways to remind them. That is why political violence is so popular, and THAT is why we celebrate the fact that the bastard is dead. So those who think like him know that when they die as a result of their own views, the world is a better place, and people are happy they're gone. They may not agree on the method, but they can agree on one thing- "I'm glad the SOB is dead."
