Shikamaru roared with laughter at his mother’s frightened reaction before hugging her as an apology. “Happy mother’s day.” The male spoke softly as he embrace the woman tighter.

She sighed before smiling as she hugged her son. “Thank you, kiddo.” She was a tiny bit surprised he remembered but wasn’t going to comment on it; it was nice to have him in her arms right now.

A smirk grew on his features as he narrowed the gap between them in silent steps. Creeping up behind his mother to scare her is a usual thing he always does whenever he visits. Breathing becoming soundless as he drew closer. "Yahh!" the shadow nin yelled right behind Yoshino's ear.

Of course, she jumped. And she even let out a high-pitched scream before turning around quickly towards him. “Shikamaru Nara,” she growled, in an almost threatening tone. “I swear you’re lucky to be my son.”

Groaning at the bills in front at the coffee table, stressed hands ran through her brunette hair. Despite working all she could, the bills never seemed to give her a break. The idea of a roommate was something that crossed her mind, but she really had no idea on how to go about promoting that she needed one. Deciding that sitting around would only make her feel worse, Remmy pulled on tennis shoes, her hair into a pony-tail, and keys she went for a run to pay her rent bill in hand. Well, it would have been to pay her bills, until she saw a male about her age lying in the grass unconscious. She rushed to his side and checked for a pulse, "S-sir!? Are you okay?" it was a soft but urgent tone. Oh today was not getting much better for her.
