Thank you guys for reading and keeping with my posts. I know it takes me forever and a day to update so it means alot that ya’ll are still interested. After my next post the story’s focus shifts back to Mo and Leah so I'll try to update more often. I’m really excited for their next chapter and I hope you guys will be too...💕💕💕

I just tested it in my own game, which is heavily modded, and the sim kept sleeping. I would check simlogical, maty, and symbology' baby hacks. On of them I'm assuming is what put a stop to it.

It’s funny that you should say this because I just found this at Insim. It’s old, though, from 2006, although I’m not sure if it’s one that would’ve needed updating, anyway. It’s a little more far-ranging than I really want, in that it stops Sims from waking up to any noise, not just non-crying babies laying on the floor. So, stereos, TVs, alarm clocks, etc. wouldn’t wake them up, either, and I’m not sure I really want that. But, I’ll test it out, see if it still works, see if it conflicts with anything else I have, etc.

But first: Sleep. :)

They do have a tendency to become my faves, for some reason. Perhaps because they seem to occur most often late in their parents’ lives, at least in my game. Since they usually grow up a little separated from their siblings, I guess I get to know them better or something? I dunno. Whatever it is, I seem to have an affinity for them, when they happen.

Yeah, that was the plan. Sometimes when I do this I’ll build a little shed for the check-in, because I actually feel bad for the check-in dude and the housekeeper standing outside in the weather. *laugh* But there just wasn’t really room for such a thing on these lots and/or they just seemed to stick out too much. So....Privacy fences save the day. Although the poor check-in dude and housekeeper will have to stand outside in the rain. I hope they get paid well... :)

Aw, thank you! I recall when I was building it a couple years back that I had absolutely no idea what the hell I was doing when I built it. I just knew I wanted it to be open-air with different levels connected by stairs and with a big pool surrounding some of the levels. I remember really wanting to do a swim-up bar sort of thing, but that’s pretty impossible in the game, at least if you want it to be functional. So, I was just kind of sticking things together. The building ended up being a weird shape, but in the end it was sort of fitting, I think.

This looks amazing! It is perfect for that island. I’m guessing it has too much cc to share.

It does have a lot of CC, but I also used a lot of the Maxis tiki stuff, which I don’t even have recolors of. I’d say about 85% of the CC is Castaway conversions, so if people have that “pack” that @meetmetotheriver put together, they’d already have most of it. Other than that it’s mostly plants and the gazebo thing on the various platforms in back. So...I dunno. Maybe I’ll package up a copy and see what’s what...

It’s kind of a stupidly-big lot, though. :\ I think it’s 4x5? So, if you have enough lot visitors on it to make it look full and happenin’, then it’ll probably choke your computer/crash the game. I should’ve made it smaller and probably should’ve gone easier on the plants, but I had no plan when I was building it and when I was done and realized it was kind of too big...Well, then it was too late. :)

Love it! Tiki-kitschy is one of my favorite aesthetics. ;D

Mine, too. :) I’m now envisioning a bunch of small, tiki-kitsch community lots for Twikkii. Like a tiki karaoke bar. And a tiki bowling alley. And a tiki surf shop. And I generally hate building community lots! Even so....Yeah, also contemplating a CC search for kitschy-tiki stuff. Oh, God...

I admit, the idea is appealing to my goofy side. And admittedly, I tried sticking dildos to the walls/ceiling with shiftable angled OMSPs, but the dildos I have just didn’t look right hanging on the walls/stuck to the ceilings. What we need, my friends, is some goofy-erotic art. Like silly phallic wall sculptures and stuff. I’ve seen floor sculptures of penises (Penii? What is the correct plural of “penis?”) here and there on various “adult” sites, but not stuff for walls. Meshers, get busy! :D 

No, really, I’m mostly kidding...but only mostly. Because God knows I’d totally build a silly-erotic lot for my game...

Yes, well, he’s bratty and often peeking over my shoulder when I’m building stuff and offering “constructive criticism,” so...

But yeah, its questionable decor aside, it is, I think, a nice beach house. And even though it’s small and therefore a bit on the cramped side, I think it’ll be nicely playable for a vacationing couple who maybe have a couple friends over during their vacation.
