I know that you plan and pose your scenes, unlike my wild wild west method, but I always wanted to know if you have any outtakes from your screenshotting and gameplay? I'd die to see them.

Aaaaargh, I wish I did! But I don't tend to take many pics of outtakes or gameplay, unless something particularly random or hilarious happens like the below expression of Anita's:

I did however find this in my drafts from a few years ago:

I thought this was hilarious because when it happened I was in the midst of setting up a hugely pivotal and emotional scene: Roy arriving at the airport to be reunited with Saoirse, whom he believed to be his soulmate. He alighted from his Ferrari and a random who was waiting for a taxi took one look at him and immediately started spewing. Poor Roy should have taken that as an omen and jumped straight back in his car and headed for the hills!😅

All of these are Ezra, and I love how I see both Willow, Jonah and also Andy in him, and he's supposed to have some Andy shining through, so I'm beyond happy with this result. Had to include the pirate, cause he'd totally show up like that for Halloween XD

to massive thank you all for the inputs the last update triggered, but not only. All your opinions and emotions mean the absolute world to me!

On a more general level, thank you for the likies. For being there and making me feel my silly stories are somehow as endearing to you as they are to me! We all have ups and downs, and I made simblr my happy place, and you make simblr my happy place!

These images ALMOST makes me want to try ts4 again. The characters just look so lovely.

There really is a lot of good cc for it anymore. Especially if you’re a storyteller. Like there’s a lot of stuff I’ve been doing for the last month I’ve had to fight ts3 on. Like there was this blocky futuristic settlement I did for my last story called Oskir:

See HERE and HERE.  (if I’m honest I think this was at least slightly inspired by your work on the NOVA lots, though this town has a less neon and more depressive blocky feel because of the sort of austere nature of Kasri society. Wow I’m really missing Shadow’s Know...maybe I should do another series, idk.) 

And I’ve done similar things to it in 3 but the 4 community just has made FAR more things to facilitate more bizarre builds. Plus you have TOOL which once you get used to how it works you can place stuff all over the freakin place in weird configurations. It’s like a more advanced tipsy, but it does have a learning curve.

That being said with the character design I struggled for a long time because I think I was insisting on making my sims look exactly the same as they do in ts3 (and they do to some extent) but I feel like letting go of full alpha was good for the way my game looks. Now I’m “maxis mix” I use high texture clothing with the clay hair. Reshade plays much nicer with this style too. 

Wow what a ramble that was. I’m sure I’m not done with ts3. I still love the game and pop into it for stretches but ts4 is really hitting a good note for me atm.

You know what’s bullshit, is that people can be DL'ing sims that have CC riding on them and never even know where any of it comes from. Stupid. just stupid.
