If you could time travel what time would you go to? (And why? What would you do there?)
oh god. so my initial answer was generic middle ages but since you're asking, I feel like I need to worry about talking to people. so no 1000/2000/9000 year jump for me. also I don't like the cold enough to deal with a mostly frozen island 10,000 years ago!
maybe a hundred years either direction? that way I could still talk to people, apologise to one lot for not speaking Irish, expect to breathe some nice sea air but actually choke on the stink of smoke, and freak out because I miss my modern conveniences. I know a couple of people alive then so it would be weird but cool to meet them as children.
going a hundred years forward, I would like to be like "omg you're alive! how bad is the planet? we fixed global warming??? how?!" but that's less likely. and I would absolutely try and look up winning euromillions numbers or get the names and rough dates of the next big companies. if I can make money and live in comfort, I'm doing it!
