𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐓 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 after their most recent battle, everyone but dimitri himself has fallen prey to their deeply desired rest and the thought ... would be considered pleasant if he was capable of closing his eye and surrendered himself to the lull of fatigue. but he can’t, he could not allow himself that bliss, for the shadows that cling helplessly to his arms and legs claw at his clothes. they scratch and the sound grates on his ears, they speak and he ignores them — he continues to walk, as if moving any faster would kick these hungry, tormented limbs off of him. as if it would help him escape these voices that chased him day and night.
