What does Dani enjoy as a robot? And are there any instances when he wishes he's human again?
(danny uses they/them pronouns, im not sure if i actually ever mentioned it since i don’t talk about them a lot so don’t feel bad)
danny’s pretty content as they are! as a human, their worst fear was growing up and being boring, so they lived a daredevil life to the best of their ability. but as a mostly-robot, they never have to grow old and can pretty much just exist in an eternal digital 2016 time capsule. forever a 17-year-old playing heavily modded skyrim and minecraft, feeding pirated music through their virus laden cranium, and streaming youtube poops at a speed that breaks the sound barrier. last week they speedread homestuck 12 times
the one thing that’s a little difficult for danny is watching the world move on without them. their “boss” is eli, who was one of their childhood best friends, but who’s now a 55-year-old man with back problems and high cholesterol. danny also closely works with bell, their biological twin sister, who has a full head of silver hair. danny has nieces and nephews who are biologically older than them. and then the fact that eli himself has kids who danny talks to every day, some of whom are getting awfully close to danny’s age, but who are SO DIFFERENT because the new generation of kids is nothing like danny’s.
of course, they cover up their melancholy in a lot of sarcasm and mischief, but it’s still a thought in the back of their mind.
