tauen (Verb) ~ to thaw/melt; to dew
ALFRED: Meine Frau ist so heiß, sie taut Eis. MAX: Hör auf, über deine Frau zu sprechen. Ich weiß, du liebst sie. “ALFRED: My wife is so hot, she melts ice. MAX: Stop talking about your wife. I know you love her.”
Heute früh hat es getaut, und das Gras hat so schön gefunkelt. “Early today there was dew, and the grass sparkled so beautifully.”
