I'm sorry if this was already answered btw :3 But is Sol Inc a wink to Urbanshade? Urbanshade's name lead to shadows and darkness, the towering black dawning on you from the tall buildings like sky scrapper, indicating the misery it causes and it's ill nature, as the shadows represent where evil lurks and hide Sol can be compared to several things, Soleil in French, Sol in latin, Sol in Spanish etc, all starting with "Sol" which directly means "sun", which could indicate it's light nature, bright and warm, welcoming, what you see when you crawl out of the restraints of the dark I don't know if it's intentional but I think it's such a super cool detail if it was.. and if it wasn't congrats you made cool shit xDDD
Oh yes! It was, intentional that is. I wanted to go with the opposite theme, so using Sol aka sun was a fun idea. Also using part of the last name Solace cuz ya know it also means comfort in a time of distress so ya know double fun
the fact that the scene that comes DIRECTLY after this one is the moment eddie comes over and officially babytraps buck and makes him babysit chris is absolutely hysterical to me. like buuuck wake up you have a kid to take care of 🙄
basking in the daylight before the sun sets at 2:30pm
I'm doing (another) reread and this time I'm digging the (unintentional?) "we're best friends but we'd both die before admitting it" vibe from Impa and Nabooru
:)
Feels Good: Starting out with a buffer of 46,000 words written for your web series and a good idea of where it goes after that.
Feels Bad: Accidentally uploading episode one, leaving you with a buffer of zero episodes recorded and no time to refine your voice or get comfortable with your microphone.
Feels Even Worse: It’s also Nanowrimo, and you were on decent pace before this.
Feels Awful: You just signed up to read a personal monologue in front of potentially hundreds of people. Next week.
...
ITS GOING TO BE A FUN MONTH, Y’ALL.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate Del Jasin’s ace pride armor please?
