When you binge read a book and feel simultaneously fulfilled because the story is EVERYTHING and also sad because it’s over. During my travels this past weekend, I listened to the audiobook for @gailcarriger ‘s fantabulous book, Defy or Defend, and finished it in just two days. I ADORE Dimity and Sir Crispin. Throw in a group of deliciously melodramatic vampires going to goth and I’m the happiest little book dragon. If you’re like me and have started to need all the feel-good reads, this book delivers! It’s one of those I wish I could go back and re-experience for the first time. Oh, maybe I should have a special shelf just for those books.
