There's a lot of discussion on this site rn about how the term "degenerate" is fascist/nazi in origin and basically a genocide dogwhistle (which it absolutely is btw, I am not debating that at all) and how we should really stop using it in more casual contexts ("that video game strategy is degenerate", calling people "degens" as a friendly insult a la idiot or dummy) and treat it more like a slur. I'm sure you can see how this is giving me pause when haha oops my url and textpost tag feature the use of it heavily. I'm only referring to myself with it, and there is something fun about self labelling as a "degenerate freak transfem", but I also can't ignore the fact that I am building a "brand" around a term used to label people as "others" and mark them for execution. I didn't really have a point to this post, I just kinda wanted to air my thoughts on the subject.

TLDR I might change my url and textpost tag at some point to get rid of the negative associations. The mystery inc whore part will 100% stay though, I just need a better adjective up front
