they say the first eclipse was when the fires and the tides were born.
they say the tides reach for her father as the fires rage and scream.
the tide is never angry, just afraid.
the fire is never malicious, just lonely.
DEATH
The Willowheart and The Riverpelt
Sunchaser, feline goddess of the sun.
She is speculated to have been a real cat long, long ago. Many Medicine cats and leaders claim to see her during the sunset, perched on the highest rock in the territory. Her bright flame-pointed pelt blend with the red sky, but her bright, sky-blue eyes stand out, a reminder of what will return after Moonshadow and Silverpelt have retreated beneath the sun-drown place.
Sometimes one can hear her sing. Her voice is soft and welcoming, but faint like a dying breath. No cat after her time have seen her at any time other than the sunset. She is truly a sight to behold. Cats who have seen her have said that while the sun drips its light into the water, she smiles upon the mortal felines she rules over by day.
As her fur becomes redder and redder with the last of her light, she disappears, and on comes Moonshadow, pulling the moon across the sky as Silverpelt awakens the warriors of the past.
