Recovery had been fairly difficult for Nikita this time around. Still, she paid her own bills for the nearly two months in the hospital. The doctors had tried to keep her longer, whether to study the medical miracle that could survive a stabbing in the stomach, or extort more money from her, she was unsure. Nevertheless, she had gotten her month and a half long coma and that was all she had come for.

She was just going through one last check up now. The doctor, with incredible puzzlement at how quickly she had healed, gave her leave to move on. Nikita swiped a hand over her tired face, intending to sleep for a very long time when she got home. She moved to the door of the room and immediately walked into someone.

The cambion winced and put a hand to her stomach, even after she hit the floor. She was still very sensitive around that area. However, she did take the time to look up and see who she had hit.
