Athena nodded, rubbing her temples. "I’ve had the worst day ever, the only thing that can make this better is House and some curly fries.”
"I can find us some curly fries. Pop the show in, I'll see what I can do." Amphitrite grinned. She loved the sweet irony of being so close with someone her husband disliked so much. It was her small dose of revenge for him being unfaithful.
"Don’t…Don’t apologize. I shouldn’t have left you in the first place. I am the one that should be sorry.”
"You don't need to apologize to me either, baby, I'm just glad you're here. I've missed you so much, Triton. I would have come to you sooner, but I-- I wasn't sure if you wanted me to."
"Amphitrite, how lovely to see you." Of her brothers, Poseidon was the least frustrating to deal with. Despite their histories, Demeter found herself feeling warmth for the god that she did not have for Zeus or Hades any longer. And his wife was a pleasant woman, whom Demeter was glad he had found. "If it is not an intrusion."
"Of course not," Amphitrite replied, smiling warmly at her sister in law. "What would you prefer-- Cookies? Pie? I think I might actually have some cake. Or perhaps something a little less sweet?" Busying herself in her kitchen, the queen motioned for Demeter to sit. If there was one thing Amphitrite loved, it was feeding her guests.
"Poseidon also insists he doesn’t have a drug problem, but I know ‘em when I see ‘em." Eris grinned. "Oh, yeah? Think that glow could help pass me off as happy to be at this meeting, or is that a stretch?"
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that. Ignorance is bliss, after all," She joked, eyes rolling. "Hmm... You'll need to nod in agreement with those you like, and smile a couple of times, and then maybe-- Otherwise, no." Amphitrite laughed.
He sighed watching the other.
"What do you want?"
The god pulled away about an inch, “Yeah? You don’t sound too upset, baby.” he chuckled, then pressed a kiss against Amphi’s clit.
"I'm just furious. I can hardly contain myself..." She gasped softly. "Honestly, how long do you wish to tease me?"
"Till the end of time, my love." He answered, smiling as he let her take him. "How have you been, darling?"
Setting herself down on the sofa, pulling her husband to her side, Amphitrite hummed contently. "Well. I've kept busy with plenty of things around the palace." She leaned against his shoulder, eyelids fluttering.

"I'm glad to hear it. The sea is very dear to me, as I'm sure is obvious. It's nice to hear others share the same sentiment."
She smiled. As uneasy as she felt around the war deities, and as much as she disliked violence, Amphitrite held plenty of respect for them.
Hades smoothly looked over his brother’s wife. He knew the smile she showed him were forced and her manners were for show but he knew better than to point it out. He played along. His own fake smile easily finding it’s way to his face.
“Amphitrite. Lovely to see you, as always. Yes I’ve come to see my brother. Is he around?”
"Thank you, my lord. You are... very kind."
Poseidon had urged her to ignore her fear of the Underworld's king. And she had tried. But no amount of convincing would reduce the chills she felt when he was near.
"Not at the moment, no. Perhaps you're hungry-- Would you like some tea? A sandwhich, maybe?"
He smiled at her words. “I am sorry for leaving you for so long.” He leaned down to kiss her forehead. “I have missed you too.”
"You needn't apologize, love. I understand." Smiling faintly at the kiss, she reached for his hand, gripping it lightly. "Come and sit with me for a while?"
“You are wiser than the stories say, Amphitrite. Your actions are your choice — you may wish for something that will never come all you like.”
He could sense her discomfort. After all these years, it had turned into a talent of his. Then again., Menoetius wouldn’t be the titan of anger if he did not.
"If you will not tell me who you are, perhaps you could at least tell me what it is that you want-- or if you are not here for me or my husband at all."
Her eyebrows raised as her lips upturned, forcing a small smile.
"A little, honestly. But at least you don’t look pregnant.”
Seriously, Eris needed dresses that weren’t skin tight. She had to borrow one of Hebe’s for this stupid meeting.
She cussed under her breath and sighed. "Poseidon insisted I wear this one. Oh well." The queen raised her eyebrows and smiled. "I think you look wonderful! You've got that pregnancy glow. The look certainly suits you."

"Always a pleasure, Demeter." Amphitrite was, admittedly, very fond of her sister in-law. Demeter had a very simple lifestyle, one she admired.
"Are you here for a visit?"

An unpleasant tingle traveled down the length of her spine, resisting the urge to shudder. Plastering a smile onto her lips, the sea goddess spun and bowed her head at the arrival.
"My lord, Hades. What a surprise! I'm sure you're here for Poseidon, no?"
Persephone had always liked her sister-in-law, no matter what her husband had thought of her. Amphitrite was kind and sweet, and someone that Persephone could talk to that wasn’t a dead person.
"Amphitrite, it’s always lovely to see you. And no… I have three more days until I am to go to my husband. Winter will just last a little longer this year." The goddess of spring nodded and smiled. "You know, I would love some tea."
"I am not one to complain about a longer summer, that's for certain," She responded, a cheerful grin settling on her lips. "I've got mint, camomile, and chai. Do you have a preference?" As she spoke, Amphitrite placed a kettle on the stove, and began to boil some water-- She would still laugh at the thought of things seemingly impossible under the sea, being perfectly possible in her kingdom.
