summary: 

In 2019 the world ended and the whole family died, but a boy skipped time and found himself alone in a post-apocalypitic land trying to survive and stay sane. On the other side, his family took notice of his absense in death and the sibling closest to death decides to look for him, going as far as to escape death itself to be by his side.

Or in which Klaus comes back to life to support Five in his personal hell.

OK I intended to only start uploading this story after I’ve finished writing it, but I’m far too excited to keep you guys from reading it.

This time it’s a Klive fanfiction, which means we’ll be seeing Klaus and Five’s relationship. Of course we won’t be disregarding dear Delores, we love our queen, so you can also read it as Deklive. 

We have also Agnes, Little Girl on the Bicycle and Ben as important characters in this story. And I’m glad I get to play around with the void and how time can work for the dead here. 

I’ll also be using Machado de Assis’ novels Dom Casmurro and The Posthumous Memoirs of Brás Cubas as reference, but fear not if you’ve never read it, I will explain everything that’s relevant to the story.

Oh, look, we have a new chapter of this beauty.

Klaus has a secret and Five thinks it’s only fair to have one of his own.

Lke, now the story has some arcs

1 - chp 1-3 is Klaus looking for Five

2 - chp 4 -5 are them getting to know each other a bit better

3 - chp 5-9 are about their “gifts” to one another

4 - chp 10 - 14 are dedo no cu e gritaria lol

5 - chp 15 - 17 is a bit of a trip (hehe)

and now we are finally FINALLY getting to them pinning. 

Then we’ll be back at Dom Casmurro, a bit more of tretas and making up

and we SHOULD finally finish the story.

I’m totally gonna guess it wrong, but I’ll guess we’ll have 15 chapters to go yet. Let’s come back here when I finish it so I can see how wrong I was.

I don’t recall EVER writing a 32+ chapter fanfiction in my life hahahahahhahahaa fuckfuckfuck

At least the chapters are not long. They always have 4 pages, more or less. So like, now, on chapter 8, we are at  +- 15.000 words. For comparisson, in My Ben, Call me Yours, that smutty story I wrote about Klaus and Sparrow Ben, in only three chapters I got +-23.000 words. With all 17 chapters I have already written for Death is always on Time, I have +-35.000 words. 

An, honestly? I think I’ve been doing a good job sewing the whole thing. In chapter 17 I talk about something that happened in chapter 4, but also another that happened in chapter 10 and in chapter 11. In both chapters 13 and 14 I point out something that we will probably only get back to in chapter 21 or something. In the 4th chapter I’m already talking about something that will only happen by chapter 9. Chapter 11 is a personal favorite where I only noticed I referenced the first piece of the chapter at the end of it after reading it and I hope the reader will notice it too because the paralel looks too good.

Most of the arcs actually start on the last one and will only end with the next one. Or even later.

I fucking love how Delores has been written and how she helps me get the vibe there. I don’t care if I’m the one writing, I really love it. And I love to show off how Klaus is way better than Five in dealing with emotional things. And I love how Five is, all in all, a fucking lost child in a man’s body. I love all of it.

I miss Ben, tho.

Am I writing a Klive fanfiction were we’ll have a threesome with delores in it?

Am I using brazilian literature in the story to adress Five’s bissexuality before he comes across Klaus during the end of the world?

Am I reading Dom Casmurro in english just for that?

Yes

I like writing about Five, Klaus and Delores because writing about her especially is amazing. I love how she is kind of the voice of reason besides them, I love how she’s the gut feeling they have, I love how they fight her but are actually fighting themselves. I fucking love writing Delores.
