POV: You get hit with a memory quirk that makes you forget about your boyfriend.

Warnings: angst, I think that’s it

Blurry. Everything around Izuku seemed blurry, he couldn’t stop the tears from falling as he ran down the hall. It felt like his legs were gonna fall off but he couldn’t bring himself to stop, he had to get to her.

“She’s gonna be okay, she’s gonna be okay”

He kept repeating the chant in his head while the view of her getting slammed to the ground in a purple haze kept replaying on a loop. He wasn’t fast enough- he’s never fast enough.

He burst through the door, looking around frantically until he spotted her. His shoulders dropped at the sight of her body, the marks and bruises littered along her skin only fed his guilt.

She was awake, dry tears stained on her cheeks and staring out of the window with a blank expression on her face. At first Izuku thought that he should just turn around, how could he face her after this? But he knew that wouldn’t make him feel any better so he approached the bed.

“Luna?” Her eyes shifted over to him and she slowly turned her head “Izuku” she breathes out with a smile “are you okay?” He says grabbing her hand “I am so so sorry” he watched as her expression began to change, her smile faded and she started looking around with an unreadable expression “Luna, what’s wrong?”

She looks down at their hands then up at his face.

“Who are you?”

Izuku frowns getting a sick feeling in his stomach “It’s me Luna I’m Izuku, I’m your boyfriend” she shakes her head gently pulling her hand away “I’m sorry but...I think you’ve got the wrong girl, I don’t have a boyfriend and I don’t know anyone named Izuku.”

Panic. His heart sank to his stomach as he continued to explain who he was to her but her answer was the same “I don’t know you.” Suddenly all of the memories they shared together started to flood his mind like a home movie “please don’t leave me Luna” he pleads “I...I’m so sorry” she whispers. He shakes his head reaching for her hand when someone grabs his shoulder “she’s not your Luna anymore Deku” Bakugou mumbles

Izuku turns to him teary eyed, shaking his head in disbelief “no she...she can’t be gone” his body began to shake, all of the stress and exhaustion was starting to catch up to him. Bakugou caught him the second his legs gave out “Luna! Luna please it’s me!” He shouts reaching for her

Bakugou yells for help as Izuku attempts to pry his hands away, clawing at whatever he could just to hold her hand but Luna looked on in confusion and sadness, wishing that she could be who he wanted her to be, even with no memory of him she still wanted to do whatever she could to keep that distraught look off of his face.

I really hope this wasn’t shitty I’m terrible with grammar 😭 I just wanted to try something new 💚
