Pecan Sandies
Pecan Sandies are buttery, nutty, and crumbly cookies that melt in your mouth. These delightful treats are perfect for any occasion, and their rich pecan flavor will leave you wanting more.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup powdered sugar. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup chopped pecans.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. Melt the butter and mix it with the powdered sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Slowly add the flour and salt and mix them in until they are well blended. Add the chopped pecans and mix them in. You can roll the dough into little balls or use a cookie scoop to put the dough on a baking sheet in even amounts. Use a fork to gently press each ball down a bit. Put it in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges turn brown. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. Have fun with your tasty Pecan Sandies!
