I'm tired of feeling selfish for not feeling safe around friends unless they show me that they can be present with the deep ass shit I'm working through. Like I'm sorry I don't have the energy to have superficial friendships right now but also I'm not sorry at all. I can't create something that doesn't exist. I can give back in my relationships when there's trust, but first you have to show me that when I open up to you (1) you're actually listening and (2) you can be in that space with me without staring at me like an idiot or changing the subject. If you can't that's fine but I just won't be able to trust you on a deep level at this point in my life. And I'm done feeling bad about that cause I don't have any control over it
